*ROAD TRIP*

Part 1:

A big traveler, Alex went on a road trip through Europe. She was with her best friend, Kate. The girls packed their belongings and took off to start their journey. Both very independent, they were searching adventure. They planned to tour the world together and discover every single mystery in this world. They didn’t care how they did it, or on what budget. They just wanted to go. Not very realistic as a plan, but it didn’t matter coz they believed they would make it no matter what obstacles they faced on their path.
First stop, Portugal...then, Spain...France...Italy...Switzerland...
In these countries, they saw every city and every village they could see.

Part 2:

Then they got to Germany...
They saw the historical sites, and tried the beer. They knew it was the country of a very good band they heard of on the road, Tokio hotel, they loved the songs so much but they never saw what the band looked like; except for this one time, they noticed them on the cover of a magazine. They didn’t have any computers or internet or TV to see the band on.
They wanted to see how the people lived in the small towns. Alex remembered that when they were trying to read a map they read about a town called Loitsche, which both girls thought they heard about it somewhere but didn’t remember where. She thought that they should visit it.
So they got there. It was about 8:00 pm, and it was dark. Kate was driving. Suddenly it started to rain. They couldn’t see the road very well anymore. So they decided to park the car and find a place to stay for the night. They saw the lights of a house through the fog, and stopped next to it. They knocked on the door a few times. A woman opened:

The woman: hallo!
Alex: hallo! Do you speak English?
The woman: yes I do.
Kate: my name is Kate, and I’m 18. And this is my best friend, Alex, she’s 18 too.
The woman: Are u foreign?
Alex: Yes, we are traveling through Europe but we have nowhere to stay tonight and we can’t keep driving because of the bad weather...
The woman: do you want to stay here?
Alex: we don’t want to intrude but we will pay u if u want. We are pretty desperate...
The woman: well you are welcome to stay, without paying. I would like the company!
Kate: thanks a lot! We really appreciate it!

[They got inside:]

Kate: where will we sleep?
The woman: I have an extra room with 2 beds. You will sleep there.
Alex: that would be great! Thx.
Kate: but we don’t know your name yet...
The woman: my name is Simone.

Part 3:

Then Simone led them to the room where they will stay, and left them there to settle down. The walls of this room were filled with posters of German artists and international bands, like green day and Nena and Sammy deluxe and many others... the girls knew those musicians and liked them.
They explored then to closets. There was a collection of huge clothes, and another wardrobe with more gothic clothes in it. Their faces looked familiar but they couldn’t remember where they saw them... When they finished, they went down to the living room and found there a hot diner waiting for them.


Simone: it has been a little while since I made dinner to someone.
Alex: well don’t you make dinner to the room’s boys. Do they live here?
Simone: Actually, I do have two sons but they travel a lot, they are musicians. They have your age. But how do you know that I have boys?
Alex: well we kinda saw their clothes and stuff up in the room.
Kate: by the way, do you have an overweight son?
Simone laughs: no, it’s my eldest son. He has a hip-hop style, a little bit like you Kate, and he always wears extra large clothes. And my other kid, he’s more dark in his style, he has spiked hair dyed in black with highlights, more like u Alex, but u have your hair down instead. They are twins.

Kate: Oh, cool! What a coincidence, Alex and me are born on the same day too!
Simone: well, that’s really...cool!

They laughed together and then went to bed.
Each in her temporary bed:


Alex: those boys seem cool!
Kate: yes they do! Did you see their picture when they were babies the women had on the table in the living room, next to the phone? They look so cute in it!
Alex: yeah I noticed it but I didn’t look closely. I’ll see it tomorrow!
Kate: okay, gute nacht now!
Alex: yeah, good night!


The next day they woke up feeling so good. It has been a while since they slept in a comfortable home environment, seeing that they always slept in motels or taking turns sleeping in the backseat of their car. They spent the day, and then it was time to leave. They said goodbye to Simone, took her phone number, email address, and promised to keep in touch and come back soon.

yes!! actually luck plays a big part in this story! you'll see in the next parts...

Part 4:

They arrived next to the exit of Loischte, and it started to rain. There was fog again and one more time they couldn’t see well the road. Then a big car appeared and it had blinding lights. Alex turned as fast as she could the steering wheel but she couldn’t escape. The side of the car crashed into the other car and stopped. The girls came out of their car, with an umbrella, under the rain, to see the damage. In the other car, there were two boys, that both jumped too out of their car, with their umbrellas. It was very confusing because it was a deserted place with modest houses and no fancy cars:

Alex: Oh my god! That’s bad! Our lights are all broken!
Kate: couldn’t you look where you were driving?
The guy driving: I’m sorry I didn’t notice!
Alex: well, you should’ve looked!
The other guy: sorry! It’s dark and it’s raining...
Alex: well I don’t care! You have huge lights! You can at least use them to see, not just to blind people!
The other guy: why are you yelling at me! It was my stupid brother who bought this enormous car, not me!

[Then Kate pulls Alex toward her and whispers:]

Kate: shut up! These guys are hot!
Alex: I can’t care less! We payed all our savings on this car and now those guys broke it!
Kate: it’s no big deal, it’s just the lights and it’s their fault. Just let me speak to them and we’ll see.
Kate (to the boys): well we want you to pay the damages and find us a place to stay.
The guy driving: okay no problem, we’ll do it.

He grabbed his cell phone and started dialing some numbers and saying stuff in German... then he turned to the girls and said:
I spoke to everyone that could help, so a truck is coming to take your car away to the technician to fix it. However, I couldn’t find you a place to stay in, so grab your stuff and we’ll take you to our mom’s house in Loischte where we’ll be staying.

Alex: okay we don’t have anywhere else to stay. so we’ll go with you.
Kate: hang on a minute and we’ll grab our stuff and come.

They got into the big car and drove. The girls didn’t take a clear look at the boys’ face but the back of their heads looked cute. Then Alex thought she should make peace with them and start a proper conversation:

Alex: we don’t know your names yet!
The guy driving: I’m Tom and this is my brother Bill. What are your names?
Alex: I’m Alex and this is my best friend Kate.
Bill: pleased to meet you girls!

Part 5:

All the way to the boys’ house, no one spoke. It was weird and quiet. Then a few minutes later, they arrived, and tom said: “well, this is it.”, pointing at a house. When the girls saw it, they looked at each other and laughed...:


Bill: what is it? Why are you laughing?
kate: it’s a long funny story, we’ll tell you later!


Then they got out and brought they stuff with them. The boys had a key to the house. They opened without knocking, and came in with their big bags:


Tom: moooooooooooom! We’re home!

A voice from inside: boys??? Is that you?
The women appeared from inside and jumped on her sons’ shoulders...

Kate: hey simone!
Simone: Kate! You’re here too! And Alex! But how...?
Kate: SOMEONE wasn’t looking where they were driving and crashed into us.
Simone: toooooom! How many times have I told you to focus when your driving in bad weather! Don’t worry girls, you are gonna sleep in the boys’ room tonight too!
Tom: “TOO”??? did you sleep in it before?
Simone: yes they did, last night actually...
Bill: oh! So that’s the “funny” story!
Kate: but you didn’t hear the “long” part of it yet!
Tom: please tell us!

Kate told them their trip story, then with Alex went upstairs to put down her stuff.



Part 6:

[in the room upstairs:]

Alex: can you believe what coincidence that was?
Kate: I CAN actually, but I CAN’T believe how hot they are!
Alex (laughs): That’s all you can think about!

Then Alex waits a few seconds and lets out like it’s a weight on her heart :

Alex: omg! You’re so right!
Kate: I know! Tom is so cute!
Alex: and Bill is like so gorgeous!
Kate: I really like Tom! We should start being nice to them.
Alex: I really like bill so... ok, I’ll be nice...

In the same time, the boys were preparing the living room for where they will stay:

Tom: did you see how cute this girl Kate is?
Bill: did you see how cute Alex is? She has this little “je ne sais quoi”...
Tom: wow she’s got you speaking French!
Bill (laughs): well I really like her... so when mom goes to bed we’ll go into their... OUR room and surprise them! ok?
Tom: ok I like this idea! We just have to act during dinner as if we didn’t plan anything...

Part7:
Then...

Simone: dinner is ready boys and girls!
Both tom and bill: we’re coming mom!
Both Kate and Alex: we’re coming Simone!

They went down to dinner. All kids had this little wicked smile on their faces and Simone noticed it but she didn’t say anything. They ate and watched some TV, and then they went to bed, each in his (living) room. A few minutes later, there was no more noise so bill and tom knew that Simone was sound asleep. It was time to put their plan in action:

Tom: LEDZGO! Don’t make any noise!
Bill: ok just one second! My shoe is stuck under the couch!
Tom *gives his brother a look*: well leave it there and move! You’re such a big baby!
Bill: Oh, shut up! if your ten minutes older doesn’t mean that you’re smarter!
Tom: uhm... yeah!
Bill: no!
Tom: yeah!
Bill: no!
Tom: yeah!
Bill: Let’s stop arguing and just go up there!

They continued their road quietly, and arrived to the door of the room. The twins knew a secret way to open their room’s door in silence. They did it and got in. The girls were already sleeping. So bill and tom stood over them and just stared. They didn’t plan how they would wake them! They went back out... :

Tom: thank you genius for this sophisticated brilliant plan!
Bill: you’re welcome! You could’ve contributed at least! I don’t have to think of everything!
Tom: ok we’ll go in and make some kind of noise so we would wake them and not wake mom.
Bill: we can’t wake mom, did you forget how deep her sleep was!
Tom: Oh, right! Yeah!

They opened the door again, but this time the girls were awake and standing, listening to every word the guys said:

Alex: you can’t be serious! Didn’t you think that we would hear you?
Tom: oh... scheiβe!
Bill *laughs*: so you know that we like you?
Alex: no...But now we do!
Tom*to his brother*: Very smooth, you big mouth! *to the girls* Ok I’ll admit it, we do like you...


Part8:

After that, they decided to go to a nightclub since it was still a bit early. They got dressed, told a half wake Simone their plans, and took off in tom’s Cadillac. They went to a place in Magdeburg. There they ran into Georg:

Tom: hey you! What are you doing here?
Georg: have you ever went to a club and not found me there?
Tom: sorry you party animal!
Georg *laughs*: who’s that pretty lady by your side?
Kate: hey my name is Kate. And this is Alex.
Alex: hey!
Bill: Alex is with me tonight!
Tom: who’s with you tonight?
Georg: I don’t really know... I lost her...
Tom *laughs*: ...as usual!
Georg: I’m gonna go dance now! see ya!

Bill and Alex sat down in a corner, tom and Kate went dancing... after a few minutes, they came back:

Alex: we’re gonna leave tomorrow.
Bill: but why?
Kate: it’s because of our trip through Europe. we will be behind on our schedule if we don’t leave tomorrow to get our car and continue the trip.
Tom *smiling hugely*: do you want to come with us?
Kate: well I didn’t know you were traveling through Europe?
Tom: really? Don’t tell me you don’t know who we are?
Kate: no, not really...
Alex *staring with big surprised eyes*: you can’t be... but you are... I can’t believe this! how cool!
Kate: what’s so cool?
Tom: so you recognize us.
Kate: what’s in you to recognize?
Alex: yes! I recognize you!
Kate: SOMEONE RECOGNIZE ME AND PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON!
Alex: do you remember the famous band we heard of in France, and this girl was totally obsessed with it? And she couldn’t stop talking about the incredible twins in it...
Kate: ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! So YOU are the incredible twins!
Tom: yes we are.
Kate: are you on tour now?
Bill: yes, that’s why we asked you to come with us.
Kate: that’s very nice of you but don’t you have to ask the other members of your band?
Bill: ok we’ll ask them. *shouts* geoooooooooooorg!
Georg: yeeeeessssss! What is it?
Bill: do you mind if these two ladies come with us on the rest of our tour?
Georg: No, not at all! It will be fun!
Bill: do you think gusti would mind?
Georg: No, he would be cool with that.
Bill *to the girls*: so what do you say?

The girls looked at each other smiling and said at the same time: “OK!”
