Lots of people sees Tokio hotel as an EMO band. but the Tokio Hotel fans are against it!

The black clothes. the wierd haircut and the eyelinner beside the loud music

makes lots of people see tokio hotel as an Emo band.

if you try to google the word 'emo' you get almost 3 milion resolts!

but the Tokio Hotel fans are totaly against calling tokio hotel 'emo'.

"Tokio Hotel playes Rock songs - they are not emo" says Eti monis and Keren yakov 16 year old fans of tokio hotel."

" the lyrics of tokio hotel are encouraging and other then the loud song comes the relaxed songs."

"the songs of tokio hotel are a mix of the members style : Tom likes rap, Gustav

likes Metal, Georg likes Rock and Bill listens to Green day"

The fans claims that Tokio hotel are not emo not in the way they look

and not by there song lyrics.

"They don't have the look of Emo boys - Emo boys as you know has one

eye covered with hair and non of the boys has this kind of hairstyle".

"The emo style is all about skinny jeans and normal T's. Gustav and Georg

dresses with normal clothes Tom with wide colthe as a rap singer

and bill has he's own style and puts he hair up."

And still it is hard for people to recognize Tokio Hotel as a big part

of the "EMO" scene . Eti explanes : " I define myself as a total normal girl

just with a unique style. every one has theire own style i don't

dress as an Emo . black is my favorite color. i think it is a beautiful color

that everyone can wear not just 'emo's'. even if i dyed my hair black

and i wear black clothes alot i don't look like an emo.

and i love listening to "Tokio Hotel" and i don't think they are emo."

So what is emo ?

Emo it's kind of rock with emotional loads,

Tokio Hotel are the exact oposite - they are cheerfull and giving you hope."

TH are so not emo!! they are normal rock music! they tend to be pop/rock and soft/rock not emo/rock or heavy metal rock!! they give hope like they said! i think they want to help teens with non-suicidal ideas and just being fun in their songs sometimes! i love them:D:D

yeah....and u know i kinda maybe somehow agree that th isn't that much of an emo band ....i mean ....i am not totally completly emo i am kinda somethin new hahahh, i just love black and pink, and their haircuts but i ammm sooo not in for the vein cuttin beleive me that's scary i've seen it...those are physco emos more like it Razz

i like the style too! but no cutting!! i'm 100% against it!! they can do whatever they want but i really think there are other solutions then waisting your life cutting yourself!
