Tom Kaulitz



Tom has played guitar since he was seven years old. His guitarist stepfather introduced Tom to the guitar who had an enthusiastic interest for the instrument. Like his twin brother, Bill, he came into the world on September 1st, 1989. The cool hip hop freak likes partying and having fun. His one and everything is his dreads.

Full name: Tom Kaulitz-Trümper.

Nickname: They keep calling me “sex god”

Occupation: Guitarist.

Date of Birth: September 1, 1989.

Zodiac Sign: Virgo.

Place of Birth: Leipzig (Germany).

Place of Residence: Loitsche, Germany and their temporary home in Hamburg which is where their studio is.(Got another one in Berlin)

Height: 1,83cm (6′1″)

Hair Colour: Dirty blonde; dreaded and about a meter long.

Eye Colour: Dark brown.

Siblings: A twin brother named Bill who was born 10 minutes after him.

Mother: Simone Kaulitz, a freelance tailor and artist.

Father: His parents divorced when he and Bill were 7 years old. Their biological father’s name is Jörg Kaulitz. The twins remained in care of their mother and her new husband Gordon Trümper, a guitarist in the rock band Fatun who inspired the twins to start doing music. He also owns a music school called Rock’s cool. Tom got his first guitar from Gordon at the age of 9.

School: He and his brother are currently studying through an internet school course; their fame and ultra-full schedules do not allow them to go to a normal high school.

Favourite Subject in School: Arts.

Hated Subjects in School: Maths & Physics.

Hobbies: Parties, Graffiti, playing guitar.

Favourite artists: Samy Deluxe (one of the most successful and influential German hip hop singers).

Favourite foods: Pizza and spaghetti. He is a huge fan of fast-food in general and he will never eat something he doesn’t know.

Personality: Cool & funny, he always has a witty answer ready and a genial disposition. He likes to say that he’s the boss of the band and the real heartbreaker. He doesn’t step back from one-night stands with groupies (according to him) and think they can be romantic.
