Interview with TH, Singapore - 29/04/1910 [youth.sg]

The pedestrians walking through the Ngee Ann City on Wednesday may have noticed a group of enthusiastic teenagers covering the walkway.

They were waiting for the appearance of Tokio Hotel, a German band that was in town to perform at the Audi Fashion Festival that night.

Tokio Hotel has been sold-out concerts in arenas and stadiums around the world, and the show Fall / Winter 2010 DSQUARED2 on Wednesday - because technically it was not their night as they only played two acoustic songs then - had also sold out .

Together with the photographer Youth.SG this lucky fan had the chance to interview Tokio Hotel the next day. The singer Bill Kaulitz has won thousands with its originality and beautiful voice. His identical twin, guitarist Tom Kaulitz, is a charming man of women to the core. And this Georg Listing, bassist - is taken - and Gustav Schafer, the drummer that inspires with his muscular arms and impeccable battery. That fan will tell you this love?



Youth.SG: This is the first visit to Asia Tokio Hotel. How did you feel when you knew that you're coming here?
Bill: We were really excited when we learned that we were coming to Asia.
Tom: Yes, we always asked our record company about going to Asia, to come to Asia and perform concerts and stuff. For us it's great and has always been a dream for us.



Will you be touring Asia soon?

Tom:Yes, hopefully!
Bill: Definitely we hope. We are planning our next trip, I think we will be visiting China in July and hope to visit Japan for the first time. And safe return to Singapore.



Do you think about the girls in Singapore?
Tom: They are very beautiful. We met some fans yesterday and played some acoustic songs.
Bill: They were so sweet yesterday.It was really cool and is always exciting to meet fans for the first time. It is always a magical moment.





What song from you new album Humanoid do you think that best describes you?
Bill: I think there are a lot of songs that describe us well. We have "Alien" that describes the feeling we have at times, including the feelings that Tom and I had during our childhood. "World Behind My Wall" is another song that describes our lives.
Tom: In general, each song is something that comes out of our lives, so every song is a personal song.
Georg and Gustav: Yes, it is the same for us.

You look so cool all the time. Is is usual?
Bill: We are all different and each one of us does his own thing and never has been a problem for us.
Tom: and we don't look cool all the time. I mean, you should see Georg at night wearing his pajama.
Bill: ... and his teddy bear. I've always liked doing my own thing, try new things and have lots of fun with that. And George isnt this way. (Georgs Laughs)

They're just planning. They planned to go to China on July and hopefully on Tokyo next.
But in May 21, they will be back to Europe for the Comet 2010 Awards.
