Sunday 6th April - Hamburg
After the vocal chord operation of singer Bill Kaulitz, Tokio Hotel will once again perform on 3rd May. The teen band from Magdeburg will play at the Bamboozle festival near New York, as reported by the 'Bild am Sonntag' [German newspaper], and confirmed by the group's management.
A dozen bands are on the Festival programme, including Snoop Dogg, Panic at the Disco and Gym Class Heroes. David Jost, a Tokio Hotel producer, told the newspaper: "Since the operation Bill hasn't made a sound. From Wednesday he'll finally be allowed to speak again." The 18-year old's singer took place on 31st March.
On the band's website Bill is contacting the fans himself and writes: "As most of you have probably heard, my operation went really well and you can definitely imagine that it's a tremendous relief for me. Of course, as my voice will be sounding after ten days of silence, nobody really knows, but the doctors keep reassuring me that everything will be OK. I keep thinking good things and that everything will sound like before."
