We thought, because it’s a new year, we should make a greeting video to Tokio Hotel. But it’s not the end of the idea. We thought that it should be world wide AND every country that will want to enter would be able to.
Let’s say that the countries that want to do this are Israel, Spain, Germany, and The UK.
Every country will greet in every language EXCEPT their own! Israel for ex., will greet them in German, Spanish and English, but not Hebrew. As well for the others, they’ll greet TH in every language of every country that’s in, except their own.
The thing this project would do is to create new bonds within the countries because we’re all one big family (;
And also we think TH would be happy to get a video like this (:
We think that if there will be more countries, it’ll be a LOT more fun, funny and unified.
After this article will be published, every country that wants to participate in the project will be able to sign up through several ways that are listed below.
On 20.01.2011, we will publish the names of the countries that signed up and the managers of the sites will divide languages (that will be published soon) among the fans. Please try and divide the languages as equally as possible.
- All of the languages must participate in each video, except the language of the country that makes the video, as was explained above.
- Each fan has to make a short (not longer than 5 seconds long) video, in which she greets in the language she was assigned.
- Be original, the fact that you’ll greet in an unfamiliar language isn’t enough, remember that all the other countries are doing it too.
- Try and wish the band many different things in order to spice it up a bit- other than the languages.
- When you shoot your video, try to put something in it that is connected to your country, because although the languages are mixed up, we do not want you to forget where you come from.
- When you translate your greetings, make sure you also have the exact translation of the greeting in English. This is because the site managers will eventually have to translate your videos to English (an international language), and I’m sure that by giving them the translation in advance with your video you’ll save them precious time.
- At the end of each video the following sentence will be written: “Because we’re all a part of 1 big family, no matter where we’re from. The fans from (the name of your origin country)”.
When all of the countries will finish and publish their videos, we’ll make a mix video that will contain videos from as many countries as possible.
After everything will be published, we will explode the official Tokio Hotel website with links to our videos in YouTube from all around the world.
Our goal is to have videos with as much languages as possible, which means we need as many countries as possible!!
Managers, please sign up for the project as soon as possible!
Love you too much,
The mangers of the main Israeli Tokio Hotel fan blog.
