Tokio Hotel Fans Wage Online War With Jonas Brothers Supporters

Is it possible that MTV has launched an all-out war between crazed fans of the Jonas Brothers and Tokio Hotel?

When our sister blog Buzzworthy
published an entry seemingly comparing JB fanatics with TH devotees,
the site’s dear readers almost killed each other (in the blog sense,
that is). The original Buzzworthy post
was actually talking about the official addition of the word “fanboy”
to the Merriam-Webster dictionary and hinted that JB and TH fans may be
the ones to thank.

But then things got out of hand … really out of hand. Karleigh and Katie Santry, who run JonasBrothersFan.com,
even say that angry Tokio Hotel fans started posting inappropriate
material on their forums, including pornography and violent photos.
“Morbid stuff,” as the girls described it.

Interviewer: I heard earlier that your fan website had a little.. kind of beef with the tokio hotel fan website

JBfans: Yeah last night

Interviewer: Was that last night.. can you tell me more about that

JBfans: Uuhm.. some people are
posting gay porn on our forums and like all these pictures of like
people like murdered and like their heads and its kind of gross and
they keep trying to shut down the website... Because they don't like
the Jonas fans

Interviewer: Do you know who it is?

JBfans: We have (some word i dont know how to write XD) 'a clue'

Interviewer: Who do you assume it is?

JBfans: Well.. Everyones
thinking it's like Tokio Hotel fans because they're tipped off by the
Jonas Brothers fans were compared by Tokio Hotel fans.. But we all know
Jonas Brothers fans are ten times more fanatic!.. Oh that's gonna make
it worse! ;s

MTV is stirring up some trouble between Jonas Brothers fans and Tokio Hotel fans.

If you remember a previous blog post at MTV
on who are the more fanatical fans Jonas Brothers fans or Tokio Hotel
fans? Well it gets worse from there. At the Fn MTV video thing, we were
asked to do an interview with MTV and were asked about 20 questions
about various things like how JonasBrothersFan.com started, to
membership, and all sorts of questions about the site. Then we were
talking about the spam we were getting (some even had Tokio Hotel
comments in them). Guess what is the only thing they used from the interview? The thing is, after the interview we even asked for them to cut that part, since we didn't want it to escalate this.

Well we learned how the media works, and this is starting to spew off a
whole war between the fans which we never intended. We have nothing
against Tokio Hotel or their fans. They are two totally different bands
with totally different sounds and shouldn't be compared to each other.
Both of their fans are equally as fanatic in their home countries, and
the Jonas Brothers themselves have said they're fans of Tokio Hotel.

Don't let MTV start a war.

OMG noooooooooooo!! how can they do this!!! MTV wants me to start a war on myself?!?! i love the jonas brothers! i love TH more of course but i can't stop loving the jonas becoz some of the TH fans hate them!! OMG that's too hard!! why can't we all be friends?! we're all fans after all and we just like different bands! no need to start a war!! Sad
