Vanity fair Italy - On the bed with Tokio Hotel: Bill talks about college and Tom says already knew the girl who he attacked and the story behind it is very private.
I. How is the world behind this mask?

Bill: A world full of luck. I have a family, 4 dogs, my brother, Tom, the band and my job. But at the same time it's complicated finding happiness, for example, out of this world of success. I think I am lucky.

II. Your album Humanoid presents a Robot as theme.

Bill: Many people looked at the cover and thought we were gonna play Robots from now on. Honestly, we just did it because we see ourselves as Humanoids. We feel weird, strange, and different. In the song Alien, I sing " There's an alien in me" - but actually, I talk about findign love; a union with my other side. We talk about different emotions and childhood memories. We're all very sentimental and humans.

III. Talking about Aliens, you said you believe in E.T.s.

Bill: I believe in many things even though I don't follow any specific religion. I
believe in destiny very strongly. My brother and I have this job because it was written and our destination was doing music. We have loved music since as a child.

IV. Besides your own music, what kind of music do you listen to? Where you inspiration come from?

Tom: I like Stereophonics.

Gustav: I listen to Metallica. But on my right leg I have a tattoo with a sentece by
Johnny Cash - who I really like.

V. And?

Tom: You know, honestly, we have little time to listen to music. We're always on the road, playing our songs and, at the end of the day, we can't stand listening to anything else. Our ears doesn't stand it anymore.

VI. Do you have breaks during the day?

Bill: Never. Actually, reading a book or a magazine is simply impossible.

VII. Talking about reading, you left High School. Aren't you interested in learning more?

Bill: I haven't gotten the diploma because at that stage of my life, I was working on our first album and I don't even know whether I will ever graduate. Right now, I am the vocalist of Tokio Hotel and I have a lot of fun with it.

Tom: I don't feel tempted to do it at the moment. I am not interested. But I can assure you we can read, write and count numbers.

Gustav: I got my diploma through professional online school. Maybe someday I will continue my education...but at the time, we are very focused on the band. It's our dream and we want to maintain it...also for our fans.

VIII. Gustav, last year you were attacked at a club and Tom allegedly hit a girl who just tried to have an autograph. What is going on with you guys?

Gustav: It seems incredible that I am recognized. That night, a guy came to me just to express how much he hated our band , lets say this way. So later he broke a bottle of bear in my head.

Tom: Many lies were written in my case. I have never attacked a girl. Actually, I had a discussion with this person on my way to home. They weren't fans, but girls who I already knew and met before. I knew they had bad intentions. The whole story is a private matter. It all proves that we can't leave without bodyguards even when we are not working.

IX. Well, from now on, to avoid being attacked you will...

Bill: Take a break because we won't give up.
