Chapter 4 :

She fell on her knees on the ground as she was too weak to stand up on her two legs.
"I'm not going to give up my life because of you, Marcus! I'll find someone else who's better than you!" she screamed to herself.

It was her first try, and she survived, but who knows if she will survive the rest of her love life experience?
Katie moved on normally the next day at school. At lunch break, another guy named Dave, came and sat beside her. He was one of Marcus' friends, he was known to be a very trustful guy.

"Hey there, I heard that you and Marcus broke up, right?" Dave patted on her leg.
"Yeah, and I don't care anymore. I can find someone else instead." Katie said.
"You're a strong girl, you know. Can we have a walk together?" He pleaded.
"Okay, Dave." she said as he slipped in her books in one arm.

They walked together until they reached the lockers.
"Why are we here?" asked Katie.
"I just wanted to have a look what's inside your locker." he smiled.
"Oh, sure." she answered as she made a weird expression.

Katie opened her locker for Dave to see. It was all full of pictures of her childhood, the ones with Bill.

"Who's that?" he pointed at Bill's face.
"My best childhood friend, Bill," she frowned at her misfortune of losing him.
"Aww, why sad?" he caressed her face.

She took his hand away from her face, disallowing him to touch her.
"He's not here anymore. Enough touring in my locker, okay?" she told him.
"Okay, fine!" he agreed.
"Great then!" Katie sighed.
"Katie..., I'm attracted to you. Please, give it a try with me, I promise I won't hurt you!" he looked at her so innocently, waiting for an accept.
"I...well...I...yes,okay," she answered reluctantly.
"Thank you!! I love you, sweetheart!" Dave hopped due to his great happiness.

A few weeks later, Dave wanted to have his first kiss with Katie. He invited her over to his house since no one was going to be there that night. He decorated the whole house and garden with roses and balloons. And there she is, she arrived to his home, her eyes full of astonishment.

"You did this for me?" she gasped.
"All for you!" Dave winked.
"That's so sweet!" she said as she entered his arms.
"Let's go to the garden honey," he giggled, holding her hands.

Outside where the garden is, it was amazing. The moonlight and the stars surrounded them, and the decorations too. They sat on the grass together, gazing at the stars, but Dave was only gazing at her face, her lips.

"You're beautiful, Katie," he whispered.
"Thank you, Davy," she smiled sweetly.
"Can we have our...kiss?" he bit his lip.

A sudden feeling rushed into Katie's veins, the one she had when Marcus tried to kiss her too.
She took Dave's hands, and held them tight. She looked into his blue eyes so deeply until hers were teary.
"Sweety, I love you so much, but..." she cried.
"But what?" Dave looked down.

Chapter 5 :

"But I can't do it! It's better if we leave, I know you're going to break my heart later if I keep adapting this behavior, this behavior I can't get over!" Katie threw herself in his arms.
"Is it about that guy, Bill?" he asked as squeezed her tight to feel secure.

When Katie heard his question, she stared at him and repelled out of his arms immediately.

"I'm sorry, Dave. Bye..." she ran out of his house.

Dave was left alone in the decorated garden, he replied only with a sigh to what has happened. He didn't care to follow her back, he knew that Bill's the one for her, but he didn't know what problem she had with Bill.

After Katie was reminded about Bill, she preferred to be alone most of her time. Her loneliness lasted 2 years until her mother, Mandy, forced her to visit her new neighbor next door, Chloe.

Katie wasn't really pleased to go, but she went only to satisfy her mother's orders. She walked down the street to Chloe's home, and from 2 meters away, she could hear the loud music coming from Chloe's room.
"She must be a rock chick. Great then, we won't get along!" Katie muttered to herself.

She continued her way to the house, and when she was there, she rang the door bell gently.
Chloe's mother, Marie, opened the entrance door, welcoming Katie with a big grin and a friendly hug.
"Hello there, Katie! Welcome to Chloe's house!" Marie greeted.
"Thank you, hehe..." Katie said, smiling.
"Chloe is upstairs in her TV room, come on in!" Marie let her in as she shut the door behind.
"Obviously!!!" Katie thought. "Oh okay, I'll meet her up there, I guess!" Katie said as she hid her anger.

Katie knocked at Chloe's room door, but it had no effect since it's sound was drowned by the loud music. She had no choice, she had to open the door without permission.
"Oh, hey..." Katie hesitated as she entered the room, noticing Chloe who was putting the music on lower volume.
"Hiii!" Chloe saluted friendly with a smile.

Katie looked so "Girly" comparing to Chloe, who was wearing dark clothes and endless wristbands in her hands, while Katie was wearing stylish light-colored clothes with one bracelet, the one Bill got her on her 6th birthday.

"Come with me, I'll tour you around my room!" Chloe hopped as she took Katie's hand.
"Okay.." Katie said, keeping herself on track with Chloe.

As they entered Chloe's bedroom, Katie's eyes were stuck on the posters of that band that were hung all around the walls. There weren't any visible walls! Katie left Chloe's hand and ran to see a poster from a closer position.

Katie examined the guy in the front very well. He was all covered with unique, stylish clothes, and black make-up around his eyes. When she had a long stare at his eyes, she felt something familiar. She had the intention to ask who he was, but she thought that all the bands these days have the same appearance.

"Already liked them?" Chloe laughed.
"I'm not sure, I'm just checking what's so special about them, they're unique much!" Katie lied.
"I know! They're my favorite band!" Chloe agreed.

Katie preferred not to go much into the topic of the band. As she was roaming around the bedroom, she recognized a smile she hadn't seen since ages, Bill's smile. However, it was that picture of the front-man of this band.
"Who are you?" Katie whispered to herself as she brushed his face with her fingertips.
