The Smith Sister’s mysteries
Featuring
An Alien?

Part 1

Karen was walking back home after her confrontation with adoring school fellows, Jazmyn walking behind her as though ready to stab her sister. ‘Look, Jazz if you stab me here and now you will be the one suspected, cause people saw you with me before going home.’ ‘I HATE you! Why do you have to be so adored?’ Jazz yelled out. ‘I don’t know, ask them. All of a sudden they started to like me and notice that I’m someone on Earth.’ ‘Ugh! And by the way I got a new case, it’s some guy and he thinks he met an alien last night at his house,’ when Jazz said that she stopped right in her tracks. ‘What did you say?’ ‘I said that I found a new case.’ ‘No after that.’ ‘It’s some guy and he wants us to solve his case.’ ‘No, in between.’ ‘Uh, he met some alien?’ ‘What?’ Karen questioned. ‘He saw some alien you dumb head!’ Jazz yelled. ‘I heard it the first time you ignorant prig!’ Karen hit Jazz on the head. ‘You know some day I WILL stab you!’ ‘I know, but you’ll always be the first suspect in any murder here,’ Karen laughed. ‘Yeah! That will be cool. Wait a minute you’re not going to put me jail just for saying that are you?’ Karen didn’t answer. ‘Come on answer me!’

Later that day…….

Bill and Jazz are waiting for Karen to come to the man’s house; Karen was not coming because she was afraid it might be some real alien. ‘Where is she?’ Bill asked. ‘I don’t know!’ Jazz replied irritably. ‘I thought we could draw a pentagram and say I summon thee three times,’ Bill said. ‘Looks like Lady Macbeth without the sincerity has come, Bill ran fast run far Razz

’ Jazz laughed as Karen came. ‘What the hell are you both talking about?’ ‘The Devil and Mrs. Prim xD’ Bill replied. ‘Oh shut up why don’t ya!’ ‘So this is the house, you will be going in there first to check if there is no alien Karen,’ Jazz said. ‘I thought the oldest one goes.’ ‘No, the middle one goes in first,’ Bill replied. ‘Uh……ok….okay…I…I will….go in…..I guess without….both of….you first…right?’ Karen stuttered. ‘Yeah, go on,’ Jazz said. When Karen went in, she heard a distant sound of a crack, she shuddered. The house was huge but it felt like no one lived there. Karen was getting too scared, then someone grabbed her arm and she screamed as loud as she could. ‘Hey, hey, hey! You’re going to make me deaf,’ Bill complained. ‘I hate you!’ she hit his arm. ‘Where’s Jazz?’ ‘I think she went to the person, he’s in that room,’ he pointed in the other direction. ‘B…but.’ ‘Shut up! Don’t butt out!’ ‘What the hell?’ ‘Yeah, come on!’

The man, Dr. Ritkins, a homeopathic doctor told them that he had seen an unidentified flying object on that peculiar morning. And later that day, whilst he was going to sleep he heard a mysterious clink and followed by a glonk. Then, he saw a white light from his window, and a pain in his right arm made him come back to Earth. He went to the hospital the next day and found out that some type of metal was inside his arm, as small as a grain of rice. When all of them heard that they were sure that it must be something, Karen was as scared as when a cat get’s water thrown on it.

When they went out Karen yelled ‘WHAT WAS THAT MAN TALKING ABOUT?’ ‘He was sure that it was an alien,’ said Bill in a calm voice. ‘I am sure that it was an alien, but it seems as though he was schizophrenic,’ Jazz said. ‘Don’t remind me.’ ‘Of that you have a piece of watch in your arm too,’ Jazz said sarcastically. ‘Uh….that too.’ ‘But does it mean that you met an alien too Karen?’ Bill asked. ‘If I had would I be alive?!’ Karen replied. ‘Why?’ ‘I’ll get such a shock I’ll die. What do you think I will give them time to take me off to the mother ship and kill me there?’ ‘No, but I would love to get a ride on their ship!’ Jazz exclaimed in happiness. ‘Then why don’t you stay there today and maybe you will!’

At night………

Jazz was doing a little research on aliens and found out that this has happened to people around the world. Everywhere, and all the time. Jazz made Karen believe that tonight one of the aliens will come and take her Razz

But when she told her that it was a joke Karen hit her hard with a pillow. ‘What was that for?’ ‘That was for comparing me with a devil!’ she hit her again ‘And that was for right now!!’ ‘I hate you!’ ‘I hate you too Razz

(I LOVE RAIN XD)

The next day…..

The rain was falling heavily as Karen looked out of Bill’s car’s window. Jazmyn sitting right next to her seemed amused and looked outside to see a blurry object and point it out to be an alien just for Karen to be scared. As they were in a car, everything thing outside was blurred by the rain, and they were outside of Dr. Ritkins house. And they saw something on top of his house; it was blurry, large, and it moved swiftly on top of it, impossible for a human being. ‘Guys, I think we should go,’ Karen said as she was the first one to spot the thing. ‘Why? Are you scared that you will see an alien?’ Jazz asked. ‘Yeah, and I did see it.’ ‘What?’ Bill asked and he looked at the roof ‘Maybe it’s Dr. Ritkins, he must be committing suicide!’ ‘Uh maybe but he’s not that tall,’ Karen said unwillingly. ‘We have to save him!’ Jazz yelled. ‘Wait a minute!’ Karen said. ‘What now?’ Bill asked. ‘It’s not there anymore,’ Karen sighed in relief. ‘DAMN! He died!’ Bill and Jazz got out of the car and ran the perimeters of the house, but there was no sign of any body. They were drenched by the rain. ‘Guys you did everything you could to prove that it was Dr. Ritkins but it wasn’t, you guys are all wet now,’ she hesitated to laugh. After a while Ritkins came out wide eyed and looked like he suffered a stroke. ‘I saw it again, again!’ he yelled and fell down.

Later that day…..

‘Oh I hope he hasn’t died, or’ Karen couldn’t finish her sentence. ‘Or what you scardy cat?!’ Jazz asked. ‘Or we are next,’ Bill finished the sentence. ‘What happened is he alright?’ Jazz asked. ‘He said that we are next and we shouldn’t have got involved with this,’ Bill said. ‘Then?’ Karen asked. ‘He died,’ Bill replied while looking down. ‘No! I knew this would happen. The evidence to prove he was mad is gone!’ Jazz yelled. ‘He was not mad, he was telling the truth!’ Karen said, she was too scared. ‘Look Karen I know these couple of days strange things have been happening to you but you should be strong. You’re the only one who has a part of a watch in their wrist and are still alive,’ Bill tried his best to comfort her. ‘I know, but all this wasn’t some coincidence I know everything that you guys have said that they aren’t real but believe me I think they are and I am not going to leave until I make sure you guys believe in them also,’ Karen said.

After she left…….

While searching the net Karen found something extraordinary, as she liked psychology she found something very interesting that made everything clear and for a minute she thought it was all “mumbo jumbo” It stated: “Jung came to the conclusion that UFOs were examples of the phenomena of synchronicity where external events mirror internal psychic states. As usual, he saw the UFO situation in a broader perspective than most. For Jung the UFO images had much to do with the ending of an era in history and the beginning of a new one.”

Well that changed her whole thinking, and all she had to do was to solve the case and put up a little act.

Part 3

After Mid-night….

As the clock stroked one o’clock, which for Karen, she had been waiting for a few hours, she got up from her bed, put on some sneakers and sunk out of her room cautious not to wake anyone up as Jazmyn slept like a watchdog. Karen finally got out of her house but she knew at this time Mrs. Hoares, which their next door neighbor kept a dog out. And if she walks near or even in the sight of the dog, it will start barking as though she’s some sort of criminal. So she went to the other side of the road, as she had never been through that street at this hour, some weird person who accidentally met her one time called “The Mad Hatter” because he resembled and copied the characters antics. As she was walking outside of his homes boundaries he spotted her and yelled ‘Oh, oh, oh Karen! Come over here and have a stop of tea.’

She stopped right in her tracks, she had been caught. What will she do know? ‘Uh sorry sir, but I am in a bit of a hurry so…..’ but he cut her off ‘Pish posh! Come on! No one will join me!’ Karen went with slumped shoulders ad dragging her legs.

He had set up a table with four chairs, on which each guest could sit. One of them was seated an imaginary March Hare and the Dormouse on the other. She went and sat on the chair opposite the March Hares which was next to “The Mad Hatter.”

‘Would you like some tea?’ he asked. ‘Uh, okay then,’ she hesitantly replied.

How the hell was she to get out of here? She couldn’t create a distraction; Jazz was not with her and no Bill to blame either. She had to sit there, drink the imaginary tea and talk o the imaginary animals. As it was a tea party, now she thought she should start a conversation and felt weird without it.

‘Uh sir, do you believe in aliens?’ she asked nervously.

‘Oh, yes I do!!!’ he exclaimed in excitement.

Karen knew he was mad and must have a story to tell and he had!

‘Have I told you that I was an astronaut before?’ he asked, she gave a blank expression so he continued ‘well as we used to go to the universe, there were things we saw that we had to keep secret. Things that if we told would cause panic or even “The war of the worlds” kind of stuff. Creatures, tall, intelligent and wanting to know more about us. They took me, opened my brain and examined everything. How would I react if they touched that part of this part of it. You don’t know they take you, but they never return you back as the same,’ Karen who had just read so many things so that she could some up the courage to say that “there are no such things as aliens!’ It was all shattered by this; she was left speechless and scared.

In a matter of time, “The Hatter” fell asleep on his chair, giving Karen a chance to escape. She looked at her wrist, but then remembered that she doesn’t wear a watch anymore after what happened. After some time she reached Ritkins house, she heard some movement and hid in the bushes right away.

‘Hey Frank! There is no need to fool anyone now, killing myself but actually killing my twin brother and putting him where I was. A short but clever idea! HAHA! No one even thought it would be me and not an alien. Come on down!’ Karen was shocked when she heard that. Dr. Ritkins didn’t die, he posed everything, and he was a fraud! She had the right mind to catch him right in the act but they would do something she’ll never forget.

She felt uncomfortable and heard the bushes move and a voice shouting from form side ‘I found one more victim Ritkins!’ she froze right where she was. ‘Oh no, please not me, not me, not me! I swear I would never leave the house without telling anyone!’ but her wish didn’t come true. That person pulled her up by her arm and threw her on the ground.

‘Well, well, well. If it isn’t a Smith! You won’t be ruining our plan, and just to let you know I am a dentist and what has a dentist invented?’ he asked showing off his new set of teeth.

‘I don’t know,’ was the only thing she could utter.

‘An electric chair, take her away boys!’ he called them out and she knew she was in some serious trouble today.

This is a new character I couldn't wait to I am posting his picture along with this chapter Razz

Part 4

One of them grabbed her by her arm, he screamed because he held it so tight. What was she thinking of? To go out of the house without telling anyone. She really didn’t like the way they were putting things, they took her to a large room which was without any lights except the one coming from a small lamp on a table beside the chair. ‘Please, please I beg you don’t kill me!!!!’ she yelled inside her head as she knew yelling out loud would cause her more trouble.

‘Uh guys is there is way that you can lock me in a room, and leave me there and not give me the chair because it will be terribly impractical to do so,’ Karen suggested but they didn’t reply so she knew there was no other option -_-

Was this the way she was supposed to die? Was her life that short? She wanted to kill herself right now, before the chair came in sight.

But it did, they threw her on it, strapped a belt and put on a metal hat on her head. ‘Seriously I can keep your secret! I swear I won’t ever come in your way or even tell the police!’ she begged.

They didn’t budge; she looked down and closed her eyes. She had been brushed by death before she doesn’t need to be afraid now.

At the same time, someone came inside their hideout. Karen looked up to see a blonde guy, ‘Oh shoot! Another one, he’s not even an adult!’

‘Hey kid what are you doing here?’ Ritkins demanded.

‘I want you people to let her go, or else,’ he made clear everyone heard the last words.

‘Or else what?’ He ran and punched the paunchy guy in the stomach then hit his neck, then kicked Frank’s head and gave Ritkins a punch in the gut and the old “sweet chin music.”

He came and took off the hat and unbuckled the belt. ‘I think we should get out of here before they wake up,’ he took her hand and they went out of the building and ran, ran and ran until their legs couldn’t stop moving. Karen thought it was some movie she was in, and he was the hero. After a moment everything fell into place and she was back in reality again.

‘Hey why did those guys catch you and were going to give you an electric chair?’ he asked and Karen explained him everything. ‘Haha really?’ he asked.

‘Yeah, that’s why…. And can you call the….’ But he cut her off.

‘I did call the police and they are in jail now, all of them,’ he replied with his eyes closed and a huge smile plastered over his face.

‘Thanks but can you keep this quiet? Like I don’t want anyone to know about this okay? And I want to make my little sister and Bill so scared that I will have the last laugh!’

‘Haha yeah sure, and by the way what’s your name?’ he asked.

‘Uh…Karen Smith, yours?’

‘Naruto Uzumaki, nice to meet you.’

‘Same here and in which school do you go to?’

‘Cathedral High School, you?’

‘Me too, and age?’

’18, what about you?’

‘Cool!’

‘I think I should get going, it’s pretty late. So meet at you school tomorrow? ^^’

‘Yeah. Okay bye, and take care!’ he said and she got up. Wow, someone actually saved her, this guy knew martial arts, Bill doesn’t and she had started to like him. So ran home anxiously waiting for tomorrow.

The next day…

Karen was going to school in the anticipation of meeting Naruto. She ran and left Jazmyn behind and at that time Bill was also with them. ‘What the hell is your problem?!’ Jazz yelled.

‘I don’t know I am going to kick both of your butts and have the last laugh!’ she replied while running to school.

‘Uh, what was that about? -_-‘Bill asked.

‘I really don’t know maybe she has some screws loose.’

‘I heard that!’

‘What does she have supersonic ears?’ Bill whispered to Jazz.

‘Seriously guys I heard that too!’

‘How?’

‘Because I am standing some inches away from you,’ Karen replied.

‘So, it means you weren’t running?’ Jazz asked.

‘I was running but I stopped.’

‘Why?’

‘You have questions to which I have already given answers too.’

‘Oh, does that mean that we are dumb?’ Bill asked.

‘Duh!’

Karen stood there in front of a bus stop waiting for the two losers to start walking. ‘Why aren’t you walking? You both have legs don’t you? Or you guys are too scared you need wheelchairs for you to come here?’

‘Sometimes I really want to kill you Karen,’ Bill said as both of them reached to where Karen was standing.

‘Shoot me why don’t you? But first shall we start walking?’

‘Yeah, we have legs!’ Jazz replied and kicked Karen’s knee.

‘Ouch! What was that for?’

‘For right now! >P’

‘What did I do?’

‘Ugh! Never mind!’

‘No, no tell me!’

‘I won’t you already know the answer to that you don’t need to question me.’

In school……

In school Naruto was nowhere to be found as he was in a different class but in the same class as Bill’s. Karen hoped that Bill hasn’t meet Naruto, but mostly whenever she wished or hoped for something it didn’t happen.

As she was going home, Naruto jumped in front of her. ‘Ahhh!! You gave me heart attack!’

‘Haha, you can get one? After what happened yesterday you should be a different person.’

‘Well, I am not so have you meet Bill Kaulitz?’

‘Bill who? No I guess I haven’t Razz

’

‘Well, when you meet him don’t scream,’ Karen looked up and actually screamed.

‘Haha what is that Bill?’

‘No, he’s my first boyfriend Clive. Damn, where the hell did he come from?’

‘Oh he seems cool, why did you break up with him?’

‘It wasn’t me who broke up with him.’

‘I get it!’

‘Oh maybe he wants me back, save me!’ Karen said and hid behind Naruto. Clive came up and asked ‘Where is Karen? I just saw her.’

‘She’s right behind me,’ Naruto said and moved.

‘Heyyyyy Clive! How are you?’ Karen asked more than welcome to punch his lights out.

‘I’m great! You?’

‘I’m….I’m good……’

‘What have you been lately?’

‘I guess I’ll go,’ Naruto said.

‘No, no, no! Uh Clive meet my newest boyfriend Naruto Uzumaki!’

‘What?” Naruto exclaimed.

‘Hehe I just meet him some days ago, I really love him.’

‘Oh, well I should go. Nice to meet you again!’

‘There’s no need to go! Stay a while and in the mean time lets go home and Karen bring Naruto along too,’ Jazz said, Karen turned and gave an expression that meant trouble for Jazz, but she didn’t care, she just replied with a huge smile.

‘Hey Jazz, what have you been up to?’ he gave Jazz a big hug.

‘Well, life’s been good! I really love my sister and her new boyfriend and I also love mine. He’s so cute wait till you meet him Clive he’s an angel!’ Jazz said very enthusiastically.

‘Who is your boyfriend by the way?’ Karen asked with an eyebrow raised.

‘Bill darling!’ she exclaimed and hugged Bill. ‘What?’

Karen really, literally wanted to shoot Jazz. If she had a gun right now, she would have murdered Jazz right away.

‘This is Bill Kaulitz, my boyfriend.’

‘Nice to meet you, you seem perfect for Jazz. She’s an angel, you’ll love her!’ Clive said.

‘He has been my bf for a year now, I just love him.’

‘Oh, looks like both of you have found boyfriends and I am the only one who is single,’ he replied with a laugh.

‘Why don’t you come home with us?’ Jazz asked.

‘No, I have to meet my grandma right now but I will see you guys tonight!’ he said as he went away. ‘Bye guys!’

‘Bye,’ everyone replied in unison.

‘Why the hell am I Jazz’s boyfriend?’ Bill asked.

‘I don’t know ask her!’

‘And Karen you didn’t introduce us with your new boyfriend,’ Bill said sarcastically.

‘He’s Naruto Uzumaki and he is NOT my boyfriend I did that so Clive could leave me alone.’

‘Oh,’ Jazz said.

‘I could have been your boyfriend,’ Bill said ‘Jazz is too immature.’

‘And you think Karen is?’

‘What will we do? Mom is going to kill us when she finds out that we have pretend boyfriends and what will we tell Clive?’ Karen asked.

‘Well, let’s make up a plan. Mom is going to be out tonight, let’s call him over then okay?’

‘Oh I just hope everything goes well.’

‘Yeah ttebayo,’ Naruto said while he had his eyes closed.

‘WHAT?’ Jazz asked.

‘Oh ttebayo! I get that from my mom,’ he replied while blushing.

‘Seriously why did it have to go to the boyfriend stuff?’ Bill asked.

‘I don’t know, my mind just spoke for itself, I can’t stop it then!’ Karen yelled.
