I was standing at the door, speechless. Couldn't believe he left without a word. I came there to say 'i'm sorry', to spend our last few days together and what did he do?
Well it ain't gonna end up like that. I just wanna say 3 words to him.

Grandma : Lely, do you wanna come in?
-Oh, no, thank you, i'm in a hurry.
Grandma : Ok.
-Well it was nice meeting you.
Grandma : Me too ^^ Come by again soon.
- – i waved.

I called Lucas to come pick me by.
I came into the car. Just sat and didn't say a word.
Lucas : Why are we going on the airport? – he asked on the half way to it.
-I forgot to do something.
Lucas : On the airport? O.o
-Yes – i said while looking at the road in front of me.
Lucas : Ok, i ain't gonna ask anything else O.o
-Ok.
Lucas : But…
-Of course
Lucas : No, i just wanted to say that you sound really serious.
-Aha.
Lucas : Ok, what the hell is your problem?
-Nothing – i said while still looking at the road.
Lucas : Say it or i'll stop the car. And we're not going until you don't say what's wrong!
-I'm telling you, nothing's wrong – i looked at Lucas and yelled.
Lucas : Ok – he said sarcasticly and stopped the car.
-What the hell are you doing?! – i started yelling – I'M IN A HURRY! DON'T MESS WITH ME NOW! LUCAS, PLEASE!
He was just sitting quietly and looking at the road.
-Look at me! LUCAS!
He slowly turned his head and looked at me – Lucas : Yes? – he said peacefully.
I sighed – Uff, why are you doing this to me?
Lucas : I'm just acting like you
-Like me?
Lucas : Yes.
-What do you mean? I'm a crazy freak?
Lucas : -.-
-Ok, sorry, sorry, i'm just really nervous these last few days. But please, don't ask anything now. Can you just drive me to the airport? Please…
Lucas : Lely, i just… Ahh, nothing.
-No, no, say it =] I am going to be late anyway
Lucas : Late for what?
-Just say what you wanted to say.
Lucas : Did you even know… Jelena & I are getting married.
- I know, Jelena told me. But i think something else is wrong too… ?
Lucas : Well… I just miss talking to you.
-I know – i sat peacefully and looked at the road again – i was into the whole thing with Bill.
Lucas : I know, i know.
-But you know we're going to be best friends forever, right? – i looked at him with a smile on my face.
Lucas : Of course – he smiled back.

I never noticed i kinda ignored my best friends since Bill was there. Guess i didn't need them at the moment. But he's gone now. He wouldn't go if he really loved me. Maybe… Uff, maybe i have fought about our love too much. Maybe i should just let it go. Maybe none of it was worth it.

Lucas : So, are you going to tell me why are we going to the airport, or we'll stay in the car?
-Uff… I think we are going to…

#Bill talking#

I was on the airport, standing on the cold air, all by myself. I knew i was about to leave all that matters in my life, but like i didn't care.
Maybe it wasn't meant to be. Life isn't a fairytale.
Then, i saw somebody familiar coming to me.
-Jelena?
Jelena : Hi Bill =]
-But… What are you doing here?
Jelena : I came to wait for my cousin, she's coming from Rome. But what are YOU doing here? Are you also expecting somebody?
-Well, actually, i'm… leaving.
Jelena : Leaving Zagreb? When are you coming back?
I looked away.
Jelena : You're not coming back? O.o
I shruged
Jelena : B-but… Lely? Did you tell her?
-Well…
Jelena : This is unbelievable – she waved with her head.
-Look, she knows i'm going to leave, but i said in a few days. We had a fight yesterday and i left earlier.

-You ain't gonna say anything?
Jelena : I thought you cared about her – she looked down.
-I did, and i still do.
Jelena : But? – she looked at me again.
-I think we both, Lely & I, know it's the best this way. I could have seen it in her eyes.
Jelena : I just want Lely to be happy.
-I want that tooooo! And maybe… she'll be happier without me.
Jelena : Heh, you think that. When i told you 'fight for her, for her love, no matter what and against everything' i didn't mean that you should leave.
-Jelena, listen to me, i wouldn't be doing this if i knew she's happy with me.
Jelena : She is.
-Not as much as i want her to be happy.

#Lely talking#

Lucas & I were still sitting in the car. Speechless. It's nice to be next to somebody after a long time, after you wasted an important time of your life. Maybe Bill wasn't a mistake, but maybe… our love was.

Well, guess it's not important anymore.

Lucas : So, are you sure about this?
-No.
He looked at me confusedly.
-I'm not sure in anything anymore =P
Lucas : We're going to sit in the car until?
-Until it passes by.
He looked at me – Lucas : You're actually letting Bill go?
I looked into his eyes – No, he left.

Lucas and I were still speechless sitting in the car.
Lucas : Shouldn't you fight for him?
-For Bill? I'm not sure in anything anymore – i looked at my hand – maybe this is the best.
There was a ring on my hand. Bill gave it to me on my birthday while i was in the hospital. I clearly remember that day…

#2 Months before-my birthday#

I was in the hospital, lying on the bed, alone. My leg was broken and my everything hurt. I was in a bad mood.I knew all my friends care and they wanted to be with me, make me feel better, but nothing worked.
Somebody knocked on the door.
-Please, whoever is, go away.
Bill : It's Bill.
To let him in or no?
-Come on it.
I let him in. I guess he's an exception
Bill : Hey – he smiled, came in and closed the door – how do you feel?
-Ok i guess.
Bill : I heard your leg is broken =/ I'm sorry about that.
-It's ok, i deserve it.
Bill : What do you mean? Don't say that.
-Ahh…
Bill : And that what happened with that guy… Peter…
-Just please… please, don't say anything. I really don't wanna talk about him or anything that happened. I just want to forget it – i looked away.
Bill : I know sweety. I'm sorry. I just wanted to say that he is-
-I don't wanna hear it – i looked back at Bill.
Bill : Ok, sure. Well i'm gonna help you to forget about it. as much as i can.
-

Bill : So… how's the hospital food?
-Wanna try it?
Bill : You didn't eat?
-No, it's worse than horrible.
Bill : I have some chocolate
-Oh my dear God! O.O Give it to me!

Bill : Hehe – he was watching me eating chocolate.
-Haha don't look at me like that. I'm like a pig
Bill : … Oh, i brought you something.
-Yeah? – i put down the chocolate.
He pulled out a golden ring.
-Omg! Are you proposing me? O.O
Bill : Haha no. But, this was my grandgrandmother's rign. Then my grandma's and then my mom's. Now, i'd like You to wear it. My parents know how much i love you. Mom agreed with this.
-Bill… ='] Baby, this is so sweet – i wiped away the tears and took the ring – but don't you think it's kinda too soon for something like this?
Bill : I already told you i'm going to be with you forever. There's no doubt.
He put the ring on my finger and kissed me in the forehead.
-Promise me, once again, you will never leave.
He looked me in the eyes – Bill : I promise – and then he smiled.

He promised…

But still he left…

(Present)

-Lucas, can you please drive me home? – i looked at the ring again.
Lucas : Sure. Are you going to be ok? – he turned on the car.
-Don't worry about me.

We arrived in front of my building – Lucas : Here you go. Call if you need anything, i'm always there for you
-Thanks. Bye bye.

Well, now i at least have my friends. I don't need anybody else.
I was walking to Bill's grandma's house.
I knocked on the door. She opened it.
Grandma : Oh, Lely, right?
-Hi Mrs. Kaulitz. Yes, it's Lely.
Grandma : I don't know how i deserved 2 visits by you in one day Come on in.
She invited me inside. Bill never did that.

Grandma : So did something happen?
-No, why?
Grandma : You seem worried.
-Well i just wanted to give you something that belongs to your family.
Grandma : Owww. What is it?
-This ring – i took of the ring and gave it too Mrs. Kaulitz.
Grandma : Oh, no, no. It's yours now.
-But it doesn't belong to me. Bill and I are… apart… now. I should give it back to you. Please, take it.
Grandma : Lely, please, save it. It will remind you of good moments you have spent with Bill.
-How do you know we had some good moments together?
Grandma : Just take it.

I looked at the ring in my hand. How could i keep it when… i don't need it anymore.
Grandma : Come on, put it back on your finger
-But, i'm not sure… Uhhh.

#That evening#

Jelena : You could have at least send me a message, i was worried – she came into my house.
-I know, i'm really sorry. I was stressed out.
Jelena : Uhh, it's ok. I know what happened, i can't blame you.
-You know?
Jelena : Of course. Lucas and i are engaged, we tell each other everything. Plus, i saw Bill on the airport today an- … Oh shit!
-You saw him… on the airport? O.O
Jelena : Emm…
-It's ok =/ i don't care anymore. It's over. I gotta get over it.
Jelena : Bu-
-Anyway, you wanted to ask me something yesterday evening?
Jelena : Oh, yes, about that. Well, Lucas & I don't actually know when are we going to get married. Our parents want us to finish high school and then collage and then start our own family. Besides, this ring isn't real anyway.
-Yes, i get it.
Jelena : BUT! When we will getting married… Will you be my wedding godmother?
-Omg! Of course i will I'm so honored ^^
Jelena : But before that, would you be my child's godmother?
-Your child's gofmother? What do you mean? You don't have a…. OMG! Jelena? O.o you're like 18!
Jelena : I know, calm down But one day i will have kids
-Jesus, you scared me O.o
Jelena : Lely, what about your ring?
-My ring? Ohh, the ring… he... gave me.
Jelena : Yes, Bill's ring.
-Just, don't say his name. I don't know, his grandma doesn't want to take it back. I'm thinking about… Ahh, i don't know =/

~ 29TH CHAPTER ~

So, another month passed by slowly. It was September again. Another year in high school. I was sick of everything and everybody. Like i needed more worries in my life. Like i needed more people to ask me what happened this summer?
Oh, wanna know what happened? Firts, somebody was hunting me, then i was in a hospital 'cause i tried to kill myself. Then, i saw some men killing HIMSELF and went to a hospital again. In the end, on the top of everythng, i have lost the most important person in my life.
That's what happened. Cool, ha? Yeah, really cool. I wish i could have change with somebody.

I have no idea how i survived a month without Bill, without his touch and smile. Jelena & Lucas were helping me to forget about him for a few minutes, but then i'd see his face in front of my eyes again.

I was walking to school with Jelena & Lucas. They were holding hand and looking so sweet and cute together. Honestly, i was a little bit jealous. I missed Bill and our talks, holding hands, hugs…
Anywho, i saw Tom coming to us.
Wait, Tom?! O.o Isn't he with Bill?

Tom : Hey guys
Lucas : Hey man
Jelena : Hi Tom
Tom : Lely
-Hi…
Lucas : You're going to collage?
Tom : Yup, it's on the other side of the town =P Oh, and this is your last year of high school, ha guys?
Jelena : Yep, finally
Tom : Oh, enjoy your last year, you're going to miss it later. I already do.
Lucas : Yeah…
Tom : So, Lely, how are you? – he asked with a big smile on his face.
I looked at him confusedly – I'm… ok… i guess.
Tom : Anything new?
-No O.o
Tom : Cool

Jelena : So… we should be going. Or we'll be late.
Tom : Sure, bye guys
-Hey, Tom – i stopped him and took him on the side – can i ask something?
Lucas : We'll go. You come later.
-Ok.
Tom : Khm, yes, of course.
-Well, Bill is… in… Berlin now? – i looked down.
Tom : Yep. Why?
-How is he?
Tom : I think he's fine
-Oh… that's good to hear… yeah…
Tom : Look, Lely, i know what happened, and i'm really sorry about that. But you gotta move on. It obviously wasn't meant to be. So just get over it. He did. He's happy now. And you should be too. Ok?

Wow, this was shocking! I didn't think he would get over everything so easily. It was really surprising to hear somebody you've loved, or still do, got over you so easily, forgot you in a few seconds and threw away everything you've been through together.
But i can't blame Bill. There were so many bad times. Times when i was in a hospital, when i tried to kill myself – but he was still there.
I was going insane 'cause of Peter – he was there with me.
In the end, he was fed up with everything. He wanted to be happy for a while. And i don't blame him 'cause of that. Who wouldn't want to find a ray of sun shining just for him?

-Yeah, i understand – i was still looking down.
Tom : I gotta go now.
-Sure.
Tom : Have a great day! – he said it so happily.
-You too.

He walked away. I was still standing speechless.
Wow! This was… embarrasing. I turned and watched Tom walking.
Lucas : Are you coming?! – i heard him yelling behind me.
I turned – Oh, yes.
I started walking slowly, looking down. Bill was on my mind again. Nothing could have erase it.
I came to Lucas & Jelena. They were hugging and looking at me.
-What? O.O
Jelena : You're thinking about him, you're thinking about Bill, again.
-This was Tom! Bill's twin brother! Of course he reminded me of Bill.
We started walking again.
Lucas : What do you think, what is he doing now?
Jelena : Lucas…
-No, no, it's ok. I should get over it. Maybe… maybe talking about him will help.
Jelena : Oh no… - it was like she knew it will make it worse.
-Maybe, maybe he's in school. I think we're in the same time zone.
Lucas : I think he's sleeping.
-Hmm, maybe he's eating. His favorite pizza. Margherita. I think… he's drinking juice. Watching prison brake and… and – a tear ran down my face.
I saw Jelena looked at Lucas like 'I told you'.
Jelena : You know what i think? I think Bill is… outside, walking through some park. Thinking about Zagreb, how beautiful nature is here

I looked at Jelena. She saw i was crying. And she knew that would happen. But she didn't say anything. I thought she would, but she didn't. She got over it.and joined our conversation about Bill. Even though… even though she knew it hurt.
But she got over it. Just like Bill did. Just like Tom and everybody else did.
Just like i should.
