I heard his voice.
Bill : Lely…
I looked up, but not at Bill, at my professor.
-I'm sorry for interrupting Mr. Guy, but can i go out for a
second?
Mr. Guy : Lely, you had a brake.
-I know, i'm really sorry. But… i'm not feeling good.
Mr. Guy : What's wrong?
-I have a really bad headache. Please. I'm feeling dizzy.
Mr. Guy : Well ok. Drink some water.
-Thank you.

I went out. I really did feel dizzy and my head hurt. What
was Bill doing here? Why did he come back so suddenly? And then…
Karla : Lely, are you okay? – she came to me.
-What are you doing here?
Karla : Mr. Guy let me out to check on you. How are you
feeling?
-I'm not actually sick, but i just couldn't be there.
Karla : I know. This was really weird. The whole class is
talking about this.
-About what? – i turned and looked at Karla.
Karla : Everybody knows you & Bill were together, and he
left. So he's like back now? Everybody is confused.
-They are confused? THEY? And what do you think how I feel?

Karla : <.< I know.
-I'm not going back to the class.
Karla : And what are you going to do?
-I don't know, go home. I'll say i'm sick.
Karla : Wait! You would do that just because Bill's here?
-Well… yeah…
Karla : Don't you wanna show him you're over him? Let him
know that he doesn't mean anything at all to you anymore?

Karla : Remember, you're with Matt now. And think about him
anytime you get sad about Bill. Matt is your new beginning.
I sighed – I guess you're right. I gotta be strong.
Karla : Yeah
-Yeah
Karla : Bill isn't important anymore.
-He isn't important anymore, yeah…
Karla : So Let's go back in now. And show him the new
Lely. Shall we?
-Uff Yep.

We came back into the classroom.
Mr. Guy : Are you feeling better Lely?
-Yes Mr. Guy, i'm sorry for disturbing your class
Mr. guy : Well, it's ok when you're this polite. For a
change. Just sit back on your place and listen to Bill very carefully.
-Ok

Karla and i were smiling. I just wanted to show Bill how
happy i am again. Without him. Maybe i even wanted to make him jealous.
Mr. Guy : So, as i said before – he looked at me – Bill is
our old student. If you remember, he was in our school last year. I think you
remember Lely.
-Ow, hmm. I'm not sure. I don't remember very well – i was
acting untouchable.
Mr. Guy : Oh, i thought yo-
Karla : Professor, can we go on? – she interrupted him.
Mr. Guy : ow, yes, yes, i'm sorry.
-Thank you – i whispered to Karla.

Mr. Guy : So anybody has any question for Bill?

Bill was looking at me kinda sadly.
But i was still smiling. I saw Karla was looking at me, and she seemed kinda proud seeing me acting cool.

I raised my hand.
Mr. Guy : Yes Lely?
-Where did you grow up? In which city?
Mr. Guy : Ok, good question Lely. But we're here to talk about their schools, remember?
-Oh, i'm sorry professor.
Bill : It's ok, i can answer any question.
-Any question?
Bill looked at me confusedly. But the look on my face was
serious now.
Bill : Umm i'll try.
Mr. Guy : Ok.
Bill : Well i grew up in a city named Leipzig. It is in East
Germany.
Karla raised her hand.
Karla : Are German boys hot?
We started laughing.
Bill : Umm…
Mr. Guy : Karla!
Karla : I'm sorry Mr. Guy, it won't repeat.

I couldn't believe Karla was goofing like this. She was
trying to make me feel better. And trying to embarras Bill. It was funny, but i
didn't really feel good about it. He mabye deserved it, but still, i'm not that
type of person, somebody who would try to hurt anybody else. Of course, Karla
wasn't like that neither, but she was doing it for me. And i appreciated it. But still…

Mr. Guy : So is there anybody who has
a normal question? – he looked at Karla & me again.

We were still laughing. But i saw Bill looking sad, disappointed.
Smile fade away from my face. I was looking at the draw i drew in my notebook. It was a heart and in it written 'Matt + Lely'. I felt weird for a moment. Like all that wasn't real.
But then, i remembered Karla's words
and thought about Matt again. I have him now. He's the one i should be thinking about.
Uhh, this was supposed to be a great day.

Mr. Guy : Anybody?
Lea, a girl from the class, raised her hand.
Mr. Guy : Yes Lea?
Lea : Umm Bill, right?
Bill : Yes.
Lea : Would you go on a date with me?

*BOOM!*
Like somebody shot my head.
I turned and saw her smiling. My eyes were full of madness.
Then i looked back at Bill. He was blushing. Mr. Guy was surprised, with all of
us.

I turned and looked at Lea again. She saw me staring at her
and stopped smiling.

Bill : I… Ok. Sure.
WHAT?! Did he just agree to go out with her? What the hell?

Karla : Lely, professor called your name – she put her hand
on my shoulder.
-Ow… - i turned – yes Mr. Guy?
Mr. Guy : It's time for Bill to go. Maybe you could escort
him to his car.
-I'm kinda busy.
Mr. Guy : Haha busy with what? You did your oral exam, you
can go.
I looked at Karla. She wanted me to go, to show the new me.
The new me? O.o!

-Em, okay.
I stood up and went to the classroom's door. Bill opened it
for me.
–Thanks.

We were walking throught the hall – i in front of him, and
he was following.
Bill : Le-
I cough.
Suddenly, he took my hand and stopped me. I turned – What do
you think you're doing?
Bill : Trying to talk to you.
-Well you should have tried it the last time. Oh, no, sorry,
you didn't have enough time to tell your Girlfriend you're going to leave her,
i'm sorry – i said sarcasticly and wangled my hand out of his.

Bill : You have changed- he said disappointedly.
-You like it?
Bill : Are you kidding me? This isn't you, you're not like
this. You're nice and polite.
-And you were supposed to be with me – i said loudly looking
straight into his eyes, but then i looked down and continued quietly – forever…

Bill : Can i say something? – he raised my head.
-No, you can't. And don't touch me – he moved his hand – go out
and talk to Lea. And leave me alone.
Bill : You're making me sad.
-Welcome to the club. Look, there's nothing we can talk
about. I have Matt, and you have… I don't know who. Your new hair style – i showed
at his iroquois.

Bill : I see there's no other way.
-Exactly- i crossed my hands.
Bill : So it's going to be like this.
He pulled me closer, put his hand round my waist and with
his other hand took my head closer.

-Leave me alone! – i tried to ramble, but he was holding me
strong.
Bill : No, i just want you to listen to me.
-Are you crazy? This is called violence, not trying to make
somebody listen to you. Leave me aloneee.
Bill : I'm sorry for that what i did! – i stopped rambling
and listened to him - I'm sorry for every tear you let. I'm sorry for every
nightmare. I'm sorry for making you sad. I'm sorry for leaving you. I'm sorry
for not proving you my love everyday. I'm sorry for leaving you all alone when
you needed me the most. I'm sorry for not being your shoulder like i promised. I'm
sorry… you stopped loving me – he released me.

We were both standing there speechless. I saw truth in his
eyes.
A school bell rang. Everybody left their classrooms. We were
standing in the crowd next to each other, looking at each other's eyes.

~ 34TH CHAPTER ~

A whole school brake passed, and we were still standing next to each other, speechless. Just looking into each other's eyes, holding tears inside us.
A school bell rang and everybody went to their classes.

Bill : Look, Lely… - he sighed and slowly started walking closer to me.
But i was walking back. Like i didn't want him to get closer to me. I just showed 'no' with my hand, not to talk.
He stopped. But i turned and started walking through the hall.
Bill : Lely! – he yelled behind me and went after me.
-Don't come closer.
Bill : Didn't you hear me? Didn't you listen to me when i was talking?
-I'm not myself right now – i was still walking forward, not looking back.
Bill : That's not an excuse. I told ya i love you, and you're acting like this? I just wanna talk to you – he stopped.
I also stopped and turned.
Bill : Don't you think we should work it out?
I was looking down, but then i put my look at him.
-Are you kidding me?! – i looked at him seriously and started walking to him fastly.
He was walking to me too.
Bill : Talk to me…
-Are you kidding me!!?? This is what you want? Do you Really wanna talk? 'cause this is all i'm going to tell you. No, this ain't an excuse. This is how it is. You wanna talk to me? Well you should have done that a year ago. Your time has passed. So i have right to say 'i don't wanna talk' now. I don't wanna waste my time again. Of course i loved you. Maybe i still do. Yeah, maybe i still do. But it doesn't mean anything because i was hurted. I was left alone. And you didn't even give a damn. That doesn't give you right to talk. Here, we're talking now. But not because YOU wanted. It's because I wanted to tell you what kind of person it makes you. This isn't fair. And it isn't right. Because i know my heart is going to be broken again. Just because i let you come in again. I tried to act cool. But you're not letting me be happy. I finally though my life will actually work without you. I found Matt. I found some new friends. But you… Like you know everytime i'm happy, and you come back and destroy it. For God's sake! Uff, i can't do it anymore. Please, go away. Leave. For the second time. But i won't be sorry this time. Because i learned how to live with it. Love does miracles.

We were so close to each other now. I think he could have felt my breathe wheh i was talking.
He looked down.
-You ain't gonna say anything?
He looked at me and i saw a tear running down his face.
I couldn't believe i actually made him cry. I love emotional guys, and… I guess this means he still really does care. My heart broke. I've just said all this to him. And i didn't even notice he apologized.

Bill : Love does miracles. You've just said it.
-Bill… - i couldn't take it anymore, so i just jumped and hugged him.

-I didn't mean to say all this – i started crying.
He put his hands around me.
We've been hugged like that for a few moments. Then i let him and wiped away my tears.

Bill : What did this mean? – he was looking at me, but i was looking down. Wasn't sure what to say.
-I'm… not sure.
I just turned and walked away. Bill was standing there and looking at me leaving.

*Later that day – in the afternoon*

Karla & Jelena were at my place. We were alone at home. My parents were outside. And brother… I don't even care where was he.

Karla : Jelena, heard what happened today?
Jelena : Did i hear? I saw it
-… 'Cause I, oh I, can't go a minute without your love… - i was singing quietly while doing my homework.
We were lying on the floor in my room.
Of course, Jelena & Karla were gossping. I'd join them if it wasn't about ME <.<

Karla : How's Matt?
I looked at Karla weirdly – He.. is.. fine O_o
Karla : And Bill?
Jelena : Triple.
They were laughing now.
-HAHAHAHAHAHA. No -.-
Karla & Jelena :
-Why's my life so interesting? Ha? I wanna be one of those old gray-haired grannies, who live alone with their cats.
Jelena : Haha so interesting life.
-Nope, it's not. That's why i'd like to live it.
Karla : Oww shush. Your life's great.

*silence*

Karla & Jelena :
-
Karla : No, really.
-Ok, i don't even care right now. Ok? So just talk about it. But just to tell you, you don't know everything. You can say anything, but you'll never know the truth
Their smiles dissapeared from their faces and they looked at each other.
I kept on doing my homework. And singing.
-… It's all about you, all the things that i do… You're all that i dream, everything that i need…

*Somebody knocked on the door*

Jelena : Door.
-I know. Be right back.
But they stood up with me and all 3 of us went to open the door.
Bill : Hi… girls.
Jelena : Bill? O.o
-What are you doing here?
Bill : I just wanted to see you. I know i don't have that right, as you said it today in the morning. But please…
I looked at girls. They were looking at me.
Can we talk-in private?
Karla & Jelena : Sure. Sure. Of course.
But they didn't move.
-Khm.
Karla : Ow, you meant us to leave.
Jelena : We didn't know. Sure. Okay.

-I… What do you… i mean… come on in.
Bill : No, no, don't wanna bother. Just wanted to talk about today morning.
-There's nothing to say.
Bill : Are you sure?
-Yes. That hug was… just random. And i'm still mad. So, nothing to say.
Bill : Would you even try to forgive me?
-Look… - i looked around to see if Jelena & Karla really left – honestly I-
Matt : Lely! – he arrived with an elevator at the moment i was talking to Bill.
-Matt… Hi.
He came to me and kissed me, in the lips.
Matt : What's up? Who's this? – he put his arms around me.
-An acquaintance – i was looking at Bill and saw him suffering.
Matt : Oh. I'm Matt. Nice to meet you.
Bill : Bill.
Matt : Are you 2 friends? – he was looking at me with a smile on his face.
-He's an acquaintance.
Matt : Ow, yes, yes
-

Matt : So, Bill? Wanna come in?
-No! No, he's about to leave.
Matt : Come on! I'm sure he's not in that big hurry Right?
Bill : Actually i am.
Matt : Well i insist for you to come in.
-A man said he's in a hurry.

Matt! Matt! Matt! Don't do this! O_O

Matt : Hey, who would miss a chance to be with this wonderful girl, ha? ;D – he looked at me and kissed me in the cheek.
Bill : Unfortunately, i did – he whispered. But i heard what he said.
Matt : Ha? Well, please, come on in.
-Khm, Matt, Jelena & Karla are in my room. There's going to be too many of us. And Bill said he's in a hurry. Don't bother him.
Matt : I'm not bothering, Lely – Matt looked at me seriously.

This was the first time i actually didn't like Matt for a moment. Why are you so stubborn?
Matt dragged Bill in. And made him sit.
Then he started talking about rap and hip-hop, about football and sports.
Bill and I of course weren't interesteed about it.

-Matt, i'm going to my room. Karla & Jelena are waiting for me.
Matt : Okay babe

I hated Matt at the moment.
I came into the room and saw Karla & Jelena weren't there.
-What the-…
I turned and went back to the livingroom where were Matt & Bill. Then, i saw girls sitting on the sofa, smiling to me, talking to Bill.
Karla : Bill, did you see how happy Matt & Lely are together? Don't they look cute together?

I was standing next to a closet, so when Karla asked that Bill i opened the closet, took a pair of socks and hit her.
Karla : Auch! – she turned to me and threw socks on me – what's your problem?
-You two! With me, NOW!
Jelena & Karla looked at each other, stoop up and went to my bedroom with me.

I closed the bedroom's door and looked at girls.
-Why are you doing this to me?
Jelena : What? O.o
-You guys think i have changed, moved on, am sooo happy with Matt or whatever. But i didn't change. I can freely say i'm still in love with Bill. I didn't forget him. And don't want him to go away again. But i can't say this to him because…

I stopped and sighed.
-Just… please, don't talk to Bill again. Matt still doesn't know about him. And it's better that way. Bill will go again for sure. And i know you want him to be jealous. Or i don't know. But i don't. it hurts seeing him suffering.
Jelena : Dn't you think he deserved it?
Karla : Yeah. He didn't care when he left you. So why would You care?
-People are different. I know you two would probably kick his butt.
Karla : Yep
-Please, leave him. I'll handle this on my own.
Jelena : Okay, okay.
-Thanks for understanding.
Karla : I still don't understand two things.
-What?
Karla : First, you're an idiot for still loving him. Second, why did you hit me with socks? O_o
-Because i'm an idiot And be happy they were at least clean.

We hugged and they two went home.
I sat on my bed. Alone in my room. And… Bill was actually in my flat. I took Joshi in my hands, like i always did when i was sad. But this time, i couldn't even talk to Him. Tears just ran down my face and i threw Joshi somewhere in the corner of my room.
Guess one of those days when nothing is as should be. I closed my eyes, put my head into my hands and just cried.
Then i felt someone's touch. He was squating in front of me and taking my hands into his.
-Matt, i'm sorry. I gotta tell you something. I know we've had such a great time together, but… Uff, just kiss me for the last time, please.
Our lips fastly connected. I leaned my head on his.
-I love you so much. And i'm never going to forget you. I care about you so so much. But… i'm sorry, my love and care are only friendly for you.

I moved from him, and then i opened my eyes.
-BILL!
Bill : I'm sorry you thought i was Matt…
-What are you doing here!? – i stood up fastly – why are you in my room?! Get out!!
He stood up – Bill : I'm… sorry. Just wanted to talk to you – he was explaining nervously.
-Get out! Get out! Get out!
Bill : Lely!!! Listen to me! For God's sake!
-I said OUT!
Bill : Why are you so stubborn? I just need to tell you something.
-I really don't care. I have just kissed you -.-
Matt : You did what? – he was standing in front of my bedroom.
-What?
Matt : You kissed him?
-Matt… i…
Matt : And i thought you're different from the other girls.
-Matt! I really didn't mean to. I thought he was you.
Matt : Yeah, yeah, whatever.
I came to him, pleading – Baby, believe me.
Matt : I do not care.
Bill : Hey, man, it really wasn't anything. She didn't know i was you. This is a misunderstanding.
Matt : You-shut up!
Bill : Hey, don't yell at me. I'm trying to explain you what have happened.
Matt : I said shut the hell up – he punched Bill in face.
-Aaa!
Bill fell on the floor. I landed on the floor next to him. His mouth was bleeding.
-Oh my God! Are you ok?

I turned and saw Matt leaving.
-Matt! Wait! Don't go!
I stoop up and ran after Matt.
-Matt – i took his hand – don't go!
Matt : Lely, leave me alone.
-Why did you punch him?
Matt : Why did you kiss him?
-I thought he was you. Come on! He's bleeding now.
Matt : He's okay. Or is he a cry-baby?
-Hey! Look, let's forget everything. Just please come back in.
Matt : The elevator's here.
I let his hand – If you go now, it means no 'us' anymore. It's your choice now – we were looking at each other seriously.

*A few minutes later*

I went back into the flat. I was looking for Bill.
He wasn't in my room anymore.
-Bill? – i called his name from the bedroom.
Bill : I'm in the bathroom.
I came to the bathroom's door – Are you ok?
Bill : Why do you care?
-'Cause you're bleeding – i got closer to him, took a wet towel and started cleaning his mouth.
Bill : You don't have to do this. I'm not a cry-baby – he looked at me.
-You heard what he said?
Bill : Yes. And i'm also sorry about him leaving. An elevator could have wait.
-Hehe. Well it's ok. And you're NOT sorry
Bill : I am!
-Shh! Your mouth – i kept on cleaning the blood on his mouth.

-Well, i've never Loved him loved him. It was more…
Bill : Friendly? Yes, you said it.
-Ow… Well i'm sorry he punched you. I never knew he's violent.
Bill : I'm fine.

I put down the towel - Look, i don't know what have just happened but this doesn't mean we're okay now. You're a cause why i broke up with my boyfriend. And i'm still mad about everything. And i have no idea why are we talking. Or why are you in my bathroom. So don't take this as a forgiveness. And just to tell yo-

He kissed me.
