~ 42ND CHAPTER ~

I was running so fast. Just thought about Bill. How was he feeling at the moment. Hoping he's okay. This seemed much worse than my thoughts about Natasha. I realized it doesn't matter who does he love, the only thing that was important to me was his happiness.

-Bill Kaulitz? – i was in the hospital, on the reception.
'Second floor, room number 9' – a nurse replied while talking on the phone with somebody else.
-Thanks – i just ran.

I was running on the stairs. My breath was cold. And i was breathing hurriedly. All my moments with Bill were passing throught my head. Was thinking how happy i was. But how one little thing can ruin it…

-Bill? Bill Kaulitz? – i was asking all the doctors i saw on the hall – Do you know where's Bill Kaulitz? Where's room number 9?

I finally found it after a minute searching.
I came in and saw Bill laying on the bed. I closed my eyes. Couldn't watch my love one being hurt.
The nurse was standing by his bed.
'Lely?' – she asked.
-Yes? – i slowly opened my eyes and looked at Bill.
His eyes were closed.
'Oh, glad you came. I'm nurse Shelie. You're Bill's sister?'
I looked at her weird – No. I'm his girlfriend – and then smiled – Is he okay? – i got closer to bed and took Bill's hand in mine.
Nurse : He's fine. He just donated his blood. After he did, he fainted. Guess he can't stand seeing blood. Ahh, but he will be okay. I'm really sorry if i scared you with the call. Just wanted to make sure he's not going home alone. He'll probably feel a bit dizzy after he wakes up. So give him a cookie when he does, i gotta go now. I'm sorry – she apologized.
-Ow…
Nurse : Take care of Bill. He's a nice guy. He said some pretty nice things about you. You're a lucky girl, you know?
-Yeah… - i whispered and looked at Bill.
Nurse : Don't ever hurt him. You'd be sorry later. Ow, i should be going. Once again, i'm really sorry about that scary call.
-It's ok. Thanks for calling me at all.
Nurse : Good bye, Lely – she went out of the room.

I took the chair and set next to Bill's bed. And fell asleep…

'Good morning' – his sweet voice woke me up.
-A? – i slowly looked up, saw Bill smiling at me.
Bill : You fell asleep – his beautiful smile brang me back to the reality.
-Ow… shit! When did you wake up?
Bill : Just a second ago. It's okay.
-Here! Eat this! – i pushed the cookie into his mouth.
Bill : Owkay..o..k – he said with his full mouth.

-How are you feeling?
Bill : Emm, embarassed. I fainted after i donated blood -.-
-Hehe, it's ok. Thank God nothing worse happened.
Bill : Yeah…

Bill : I had a dream about you – he took my hand and smiled.
-Really?
Bill : It was really nice.
-What was i doing?
Bill : Actually, we were getting married.
-Oh…
Bill : Oh, i'm sorry. I know you don't wanna…
-No, no, it's fine. Really. If it makes you happy… - i took a deep breath – we can talk about… our wedding.
Bill : Hehe what?
-I mean your dream.
Bill : I just gotta say, you looked amazing in white.
-Haha oh? Hmm, cool.

Bill : So, when can i go home? – he stood up from the bed.
-I'll just look for the nurse.
Bill : And i'll eat one more cookie – he laughed.

Ahh, what was i thinking? Of course he would never cheat me, or escape with Natasha, those are just my stupid thoughts.
I looked for the nurse.

Nurse : Lely! – she smiled when she saw me.
-Hi.
Nurse : Did Mister K. wake up?
-Hehe yep. He's all fine now.
Nurse : That's good. Well, he can go home. Take care of him.
-That's what i wanted to ask. Thank you. He's a strong boy – we both laughed.

-Once again, thanks for calling me.
Nurse : Sure – she waved and turned.
-Oh, actually… - i stopped her.
Nurse : Yes? – she turned back to me.
-Well… what did he say about me?... I mean you told me he was talking about me so…
Nurse : Hehe he was saying only the good things, no need to worry.
-Eh. Hehe thanks.
Nurse : Look, he really loves you, it's obvious. But he seemed kinda worried when he came.
-Yes, we had a little fight.
Nurse : Don't let it happen again.
-Of course. Thank you. Once again.

I left.
I came into the door and saw Bill sitting on the bed.
-You're free to go.
Bill : Great – he took his jacket and we went home

*Next day - morning*

-How's that you went and donated your blood? – we were laying on the bed.
Bill : I don't know. I just got that idea. And did it.
-Maybe it's going to help somebody.
Bill : I hope. But at least i got a cookie. Haha.
-Hehehe, ohh yeaah, lucky you!

The doorbell rang.
-I'll get it – i said as i jumped above him, going out of the bed.

-Yes? – i opened the door and there was a man standing with the package.
'Hi. I'm looking for…' – he looked at the package – ' Lely… Kau-'
I interrupted - Tomić
'Oh. Tomić?' – he asked.
-Yeah… - i felt strange.
'I'm Nikola' – he reached for my arm.
We shook – Can i get the package now? – i was looking at him weirdly.
Nikola : Yes, of course' – he said, smiling, after he finally took his eyes off of me – Just sign this.

Nikola : Okaaay. That's good.
I was about to close the door, when he stopped me – Nikola : I'm… sorry for bothering but… do you recognize me?
-I… don't know. You look familiar – i turned around, looking for Bill.
Bill : Is everything ok? – he yelled from the bedroom.
-Umm, yes.

He came to the front door, anyway, and stood next to me.
Bill : Hi – he said to Nikola
Nikola : Hey.
Bill : Who are you?
Nikola : Ow, yes, sorry – they started shaking – i'm Lely's ex-boyfriend – he smiled.

~ 43RD CHAPTER ~

I looked at Bill's face. He was confused and seemed kinda mad.
Bill : You're… - he got mixed up - … emm Lely's ex?
Nikola : Yes, yes – he was still smiling that crazy smile.
Bill : Lely? – he looked at me.
Lely : Yes? – i was scared.
Nikola : Ahh, Lely…
I gave Nikola that look 'Shut Up!' and he stopped smiling.
Nikola : I didn't want to make you trouble, Lely. I'm really sorry – he tried to apologize.
-I… it's ok. Thanks for the package – i closed the door in front of his face.

Bill : That was your ex-boyfriend? – he asked while following me to the kitchen.
-I didn't recognize him at first – i replied while opening the package in my hands, looking at it.
Bill : How did he find out where you live?
-He's a postman…
Bill : Yeah… So he lives in Germany? In Berlin?
I looked at him sarcasticly – Look, i don't know. I really don't care. I'm not interested in him.
Bill : Ow, yes, yes. sorry about that. I'm just… - he looked away.
I turned his head and his look at me – No need to be scared – and smiled.
Bill : You killed the fear with that cute smile – he got closer and put his arms round my waist.
-I love you – i gave him a short kiss and continued opening the package.

Bill : So, what is it?
-Aaaa!
Bill : What? What?
-We're going to… - i looked at him, with sparkles in my eyes, smiling.
Bill : Yes?
-To Zagreb!! Aaaaaa! – i jumped on him and hugged him.
He spinned me around – Bill : When? How? Why? Who?
-Hahaha my mom just sent us tickets for Zagreb. My parents are getting married.
Bill : Aren't they already married?
-Yes, but they'll be having that wedding again.
Bill : Oh…
-OH MY GOD! They're getting married again – i was thrilled – and i'm coming back to Zagreb!
He put me down – Bill : When's the wedding?
-In summer. July first. It's their anniversery then. So… Haha i still can't believe my daddy proposed mom again.
Bill : hehe that's sweet.
-You're not so happy.
Bill : I am, of course i am.
-It's about the wedding, isn't it?
Bill : No, no. Really, i'm so happy for them. And… about us going to Zagreb. That's really nice.
-I can say when you lie. If you don't wanna go, i understand.
Bill : No – he took my hand and kissed it – we're going. End of discusion.

Like we were fighting over something. Well, maybe, i started thinking to much about weddings and how they affect on Bill. If he says he's ok, then i'm going to trust him. Even thought, i know when something's not right.
Well, at the moment, i wanted to concentrate on my parents. It was so nice they were getting married, again.

I was outside, shopping, with Katy.
Katy : So, what do you think about this one? – she was trying on a short green dress.
-Emm, green?
Katy : Yes, you're right. Yellow's better.
I laughed – You'd look like a clown.
Katy : Uuu, scary.
-Ouu yes!
Katy : Haha what about this… what is that?
-I think it's… emm… i'm sure it would be… a… What is that?
We lookd at each other and started laughing.

Katy : What's new?
-Nothing much actually.
Katy : I heard you're going to Zagreb.
-Yep. On Christmas and… in summer. My parents are getting married again. Yay!
Katy : They got divorced?
-Noo! They're just having a second ceremony. For their 20th anniversery.
Katy : Awwwi, so cute. Ah, all i want is a rich husband who'd die soon.
-Haha. Of course you do.

Katy : Em, can i praise myself a little bit?
-Sureee!
Katy : I'm going out tonight – she sounded proud.
-Woohoo! Who's a lucky man?
Katy : You'll get to meet him – she winkled.
-A?
Katy : He's coming here, to pick me up.
-Nice. Is he rich and old? Haha.
Katy : Well, i'll find one old dude, marry him and this one will be my lover. So when the old dude die, i'll take his money and escape.
-Ahahaha awesome.

Katy : Ow, he's calling me on the phone.
-Ah, sweet.
Katy : Be right back – she went on the side, to talk to her mister Lover.

I was looking at all those dresses and remembered my mom. I was wondering, how is she going to look like.

'Lely!' – i heard Bill's voice behind me.
-Baby – we hugged – what are you doing here?
Bill : I was just walking outside and saw you in here. Just wanted to say hi. Am i disturbing?
-Never. Katy's talking on the phone.
Bill : Then i can make you company.
-For sure.
He hugged me from the back and laid his head on my shoulder.

Bill : Hmm, maybe i could take you out on the dinner tonight?
-You should, hehe.
Bill : We haven't been out together in a really long time.
-We're just busy.
Bill : Yup. But i miss just being with you. You know, when we'd just look at each other, smile, and everything would seem perfect. We'd forget everything and everybody, nothing else would matter.
-Yeah, i remember.

Katy : Oh, hi Bill – she said as she came back.
We turned – Bill : Hey.
Katy : Nikola will be here at the moment, he's at the parking lot.
'Nikola?!' – Bill and i asked at the same time.
Katy : Yes – she looked strange at us – Nikola. He's not actually from Berlin, but has a cute name, right? He said i can call him Nick, but Nikola is much… sophisticated. Don't cha think? – she smiled.

Bill & i looked at each other.
-Maybe it's somebody else – i whispered to him.
Bill : What do you think how many Nikolas from abroad are in Berlin? – he rolled with his eyes.
I nervously looked back at Katy.
Katy : here he is – she pointed at the shop's door.
Nikola : Hey guys – he came to us, greeted and kissed Katy.

Katy : Nikola, these are…
Nikola : Lely, yeah, i know – he smiled.
Katy : And Bill.
Nikola : Glad to see you again – he winkled and continued smiling.

Bill : Nikola – he said while looking at him confused.
Nikola : Hey man – they shoke.
Katy : You know each other?
-Well…
Nikola : Lely and i were friends back there in Zagreb.
Katy : Lely? – she seemed happy to hear that.
-Yeah? – i looked at her, sad.
Katy : You were really friends?
-Something like that, yes.
Katy : Awesome – she nodded and continued talking – we should all go out together. Ha? What about tonight?
Nikola : Good idea hon – he kissed her forehead.

I felt kinda jealous. It was a weird feeling. He used to love me, well at least he was saying that. But that love wasn't so strong obviously, because he left for the other girl.
I loved him all until Bill came into my life. And now, i felt like the old feelings are coming back.
But i didn't let myself get back to them.
I was just hoping he wouldn't do the same thing to Katy.

-Actually, Bill and i are going out together. Alone.
Nikola : Come on, this is our chance to get to know each other a little bit better – he winkled.
Bill : Would you, like, leave us alone? – he came closer to Nikola and looked at him pissed.
Nikola : Dude, what's wrong with you? – he pushed him away from him.
But Bill ran to Nikola and punched him.
-Bill! – i yelled as Nikola fell down.
Katy : Aaa! Bill! What the hell?! – she pushed him away and sat down next to Nikola who was laying on the floor.
I stood in front of Bill – Why did you do this?
Bill : He's a jerk – he said while still looking at Nikola over my shoulder, on the floor.
I looked at Nikola and he was looking at us.
-Don't be like him. I know he pissed you off with that winkling. I feel the same. What do you think how is it for me? But don't act like Matt did.
Bill : Matt?
-Yeah. Remember?
Bill : I don't care.
-Bill, listen to me. You can't just punch anybody everytime you want.
Bill : Leave me alone, Lely. I'm not myself now.
-Bill, i'm telling you-
He walked out of the store, i yelled after him – Bill!

Katy gave a tissue to Nikola. His nose was bleeding.
I stood next to them – I'm sorry for that. Really.
Nikola : It's not your mistake. It's that fucking idiot's mistake. He should apologize. You shouldn't worry – he winkled again.

I rolled with my eyes – Do you have some winkling problems?
Nikola : What?
-Or you just like making other people's lifes miserable?
Katy : Lely, would you-
-I just wanna say something, please Katy – i stopped her – You're a jerk. How do you dare smiling here at me after everything you did to me? Ha? Nikola, i loved you. But you choose Daky over me. I know we were far away from each other, but our hearts were together – i took a deep breath – Anyway, i'll forget all that. But if you're going to date Katy, then you should watch our for yourself. Because i'm not leting you hurt her the way you did me. So this time better leave on time.

Katy : Nikola, you and Lely were together? – she looked at him.
Nikola : Well…
-It's not important. Katy – i put my hand on her shoulder – i want the best for you.

She looked down and then back at me – Katy : Lely, it seems like everything's about you again.
-What?
Katy : You were talking how he hurt you, but he changed.
Nikola : I did? – it sounded so funny, 'cause she believed in him, but he didn't even know what to say.
She didn't even hear his question – Katy : He loves me, he won't hurt Me like he did You. And the world isn't only about you. There are some other people who want to be happy too.
-Ok, what the hell are you talking about?
Katy : Your boyfriend punched mine! – she stood up and started yelling at me.
-If your wasn't such a jerk, maybe he wouldn't! – i yelled back at her.
Katy : Mine's not a jerk, he just wants to be friends with everybody! Is that a problem?! – she made that weird face while asking the question.
-Look, Katy, i don't wanna fight with you. We're friends.
Katy : Well, maybe not anymore.
-What? But, i told you, i don't wanna fight. Let's just forget the whole thing.
Katy : Fuck that! The only thing i need is my boyfriend – she was still acting bitchy.
I got pissed and started acting bitchy too – Your lovely boyfriend is not so lovely, eh.
Katy : He's lovelier than your.
-Wtf? Come on, this is stupid.
Katy : Ow, yeah?! – she was standing right in front of me, her face just a few inches from mine.
-What's wrong with you? – i pushed her and left the store.

I left Nikola and Katy there. I didn't want to fight, wanted to stop everything, but people are weird. And can be bitchy. I don't know what was wrong with her.

I finally came home. It was around 11 p.m. I put my keys on the table in the kitchen and sat on the sofa.
-Bill? – i called his name.
He wasn't at home.
I tried to call him, but his phone was turned off.
I was sitting in the dark, thinking about everything what happened today.
All of a sudden, a tear ran down my face. It was weird what was happening. It's true what they say, that ex's can ruin your life.
Suddenly, someone knocked on my door.
I fastly went to the door and opened them
Nikola : Hey Lely – he softly smiled and leaned on the door framework.
-W-what are you doing here?
Nikola : Did you cry?
-Why are you here?
Nikola : Well… i left Katy.
-I knew it! – i wanted to shot the door in front of him, but he stopped them.
Nikola : But i'm here because of you.
-I don't need you.
Nikola : I know. But i need you – he put his hand on my chin.
