Part 14

Bills pov:

I got up from my bed, feeling refreshed and recharged. I was happy, I actually got up smiling. I was neither tired nor lazy today. I freshened up, changed my clothes and went out of my room. Everyone was up, Tom was watching T.V, Gustav was in the kitchen and Georg was still eating. I went in the direction of the door. ‘Hey Bill, you look awfully chipper today. Is something wrong?’ Tom asked sarcastically. ‘I’m feeling great! I just need to go outside,’ I said as I reached for the door knob. ‘You’ve been going out early and coming back late. What is going on? And you’re feeling happy, more than usual,’ Tom said. I went out without giving him the answer. I went to the same coffee shop, and what a surprise! Roz was sitting there.

‘Hi Roz, how is everything?’ I asked. ‘Hi Bill, I wanna ask you something,’ she replied. ‘What?’ I asked. ‘It’s Eric; he said he can’t be without me. I told that I’ll give you the answer sometime. What should I tell him Bill?’ she asked. I didn’t expect this. ‘Roz, if you love him, go back. He’s told you that he can’t be without you, so tell him what you think,’ I replied. What was thinking, why did I tell her that? She took out her cell and called him. She told him how she felt. My heart was actually aching; it hurt what she said to him.

My heart was hurting, the pain was unbearable. The pain was so bad that I fainted in the coffee shop.

Part 15

Third person:

Roz called an ambulance and took Bill to the hospital. The doctor gave Bill some injections and took his Blood pressure test. Bill is resting peacefully with Roz beside him.

Roz’s pov:

Any person who I start to like has to become ill. I admit that I like Eric, but I like Bill as much. He’s so caring, sensitive and charming. I was sitting beside his bed, I noticed that he had an engagement ring on. I he engaged? If he is, I can’t reveal my feelings for him. The doctor came in and ‘Hi, I’m Dr. Shepard. I’m here to take an ultra sound for Mr. Bill’s heart.’ ‘Oh, hello Dr,’ I replied. The doctor took Bill’s test and said to me ‘To tell you the truth if it won’t hurt you Miss ……’ ‘Roz,’ I said ‘Roz is that his heart has become really weak and I don’t know how he’s alive. Sorry but he needs to stay in the hospital; he could’ve had a heart attack and died. I’m surprised how he survived, I’ll send an intern to take another test,’ he said and went out. I held Bill’s hand tightly, I really wanted for him to wake up.

He slowly opened his eyes. ‘Wha …what happened?’ he asked as he got up. I hugged him and replied ‘Oh nothing Bill, you just fainted and you know how I am. I get so scared when anything like this happens I take the person to the hospital, even if they’re having a headache.’ The intern came in and I stopped hugging him.

Bill’s pov:

Thank God I only fainted. If something else happened to me what would I say to Roz? The intern took my ECG, the intern looked at Roz. Her eyes filled with tears. ‘Bill, I didn’t tell you the truth. You had a heart attack, the doctor told me you’re heart is really weak and …..and …….’she started to cry, I couldn’t believe it. Why me? Roz’s cell phone rang and she went out to take the call. After a while Feramirg came back and said ‘Bill, I knew about your condition but I didn’t tell you. But know as the condition is getting worse I need to tell you that Theanon and the rings powers are fading. You wished you could take the ring off, now you can. Sinaron isn’t after you now, please Bill, get well soon.’ When Roz came back he vanished. If I’m going to die, I’ll give her the ring. I took it off and said ‘Roz, take this ring.’ ‘I can’t isn’t this your engagement ring?’ she asked. ‘No, I bought it for myself, you can have it now. I don’t need it,’ I said and gave it to her. If I am going to die, I’ll tell her right now what I fell about her.

I'd written half of the story, but I'm writing it again because I hated some parts of it.

oh nice!! yeah i did that with my story "the golden age"
i had finished it..but when i read it again i changed so may things in it..

I learned to do that from my mom. She wrote a story and edited and changed the story line a thousand times before letting anyone else read it :p

yeah it seriously changes a lot of things..cause you know sometimes you're writing with too many thoughts in your head..and you cant think straight..so you end up writing a very lame chapter or something..and when you read it again you ask yourself what the hell was i thinking?? and you re-write the whole thing!! hehehe xD

Part 16

Bill’s pov:

‘Roz, I need to tell you something,’ I said ‘Huh? Go ahead Bill’, she replied. ‘Take care and if Eric does something wrong, just beat him up,’ I said and she started to laugh. ‘Oh yeah, Eric asked me out and I said yes. But I’m gonna cancel it,’ she took out her cell, I grabbed her wrist. ‘No Roz, don’t give up the chance just for me whose about to die any day now,’ I told her. ‘Bill, don’t ever say you’re gonna die. But …..should I go?’ she asked. ‘Yes, go now or you’ll miss the chance,’ I replied.

Roz’s pov:

If Bill said yes, then I should go. I went out of the hospital, but I didn’t want to let Bill go. I reached the park where Eric had told me to meet him. I started looking for him, I felt someone’s arms around my waist. It was Eric; he let me go and got down on his knees. NO! NO! ‘I know Roz this is too early, but please let’s get engaged,’ he said. ‘E ….Eric,’ I stuttered. ‘Will you marry me Roz Fletcher?’ he asked and I answered without thinking ‘Y …yes.’ He jumped up with joy and he put the ring on my finger.

Bill’s pov:

I had the chance and didn’t tell Roz. After some time Roz came in the room with Eric behind her. ‘Bill, uh, I need to tell you that me and Eric are getting married in four years,’ she told me. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I screamed inside my head. ‘I’ll leave you two alone for some time,’ Eric said as he went out. ‘Bill, I don’t know how this happened, he asked and I said yes,’ she explained. ‘There’s no need to explain Roz, you love him and ….’ I didn’t’ know how to finish the sentence. I didn’t know why but I kissed Roz’s cheek, she didn’t react to that. ‘Bill, I didn’t want to leave you and ……good night,’ she said and went out of the room.
